Used to eat here when I worked in Paisley when it first opened and thought I?d try it again. While the staff were attentive and coffee good it is looking very tired - the leatherette covered club chairs had worn through to the base fabric, duct tape held down the metal edging between floor coverings, some of the carpet appear to be worn through, edging was missing from above an internal door and the tables were clean but worn. Really needs a good update and refurb to get back to its old glory.

A great cafe for a quick or leisurely breakfast lunch, dinner or just for a meet up for coffee and cake with friends. It has a casual, friendly ambience and the staff are all very welcoming.

Smallest baked potato known to man. Was advertised with salad and coleslaw.
Came on its own on a massive plate with one spoonful of tuna mayo? £9.. never again. I can't express how tiny this potato was, wouldn't feed a child. Not my first bad visit, won't return.

Not great - 6 people for lunch. Kids pancakes rock hard sent back. Second weren't much better but to be fair we were not charged. Rest of food was good but hygiene concerns so won't go back. Server was handing the knife and forks out whilst holding the end which touches the food and also placing them on your plate!. Gents toilet seat doesn't stay up and covered in unmentionables including the back of the toilet
along with a sticky floor and all at 1230 so not the end of the day even.

The food is usually good but some of the breakfast/brunch items only come with one slice of bread. Like the eggs benny, eggs halloumi, eggs royale etc. Our party were all still hungry afterwards and ended up buying pastries to fill us up. So the 3 stars are for some of their portion sizes for the price. So not good value for money on this occasion.
