place is a joke ordered a ipad and when I went to collect I bought a ipencil to go qith it but when I got home it wasn't compatible so went straight back for the right 1 only to be told I couldn't return it because it had been opened when I asked where does it say that I can't return an open item he pointed to a very small sign behind the desk that no one can see absolutely shocking services

The instore sign says in large letters COLLECTION POINT, underneath it much smaller letters instore purchase, i didn't realise this until after standing there for 5 minutes to collect my online order and was then told I have to stand in the queue for the tills,
I was then asked if I was over 18 to collect my order of charger cable and ps5 game with 12 cert,
Iam 50 years old and bald for the record

My dad ordered a wheelchair and after realising it wasn't suitable we tried to return it at the Paisley store at around 12:15pm. (Less than 24 hours after purchase) but the manager refused to return it and accused us of using it. She claimed the wheels indicated we had used it and that they'd never be able to resell it because it's obvious to anyone that it's a used wheelchair. Despite us telling her we only let someone try it in the house for around 30 seconds to see whether it's suitable, she still didn't believe us. This is the state of the wheels, which had small bits of cat fur on them and was wiped off in seconds. Went to Braehead Sainsbury's store with it and they returned it no problem and we're very helpful. The Linwood manager was very rude and had already made up her mind and didn't even try to wipe it. Extremely disappointed as this caused him a great deal of stress. It was not cheap and we couldn't afford another one.

staff do not help here they will never refund you I had a £500 watch that was broken when I got it they refused to refund me phoned the other store so i could not go there as when I went they said they had a phone call saying I cannot refund you in the end I just waited 5 or so days then returned somewhere else as its my right to a refund

Don't use recucle service just got a fridge freezer and despite waiting an extra two weeks now in my close have s fridge freezer that is a fire hazard and argos are saying its booked for collection next week. I can't move it as I have a health condition and my neighbours are already complaining very poor from such a big name will not use them even if they are cheaper anymore.

Nothing against staff. They've all been great so far.I recently bought a PS5 controller and at the time, following staff advice, I did an extended warranty.The controller got damaged and now I can't exchange it because there is no stock anywhere and Argos do not do interstores exchanges!So they are not offering any options and meanwhile I am out of controller for nearly a month and with no perspective in sight of having one soon.This almost looks like Argos tricked me there with the extended warranty.My advice based on my experience is, don't buy at Argos and most of all do not do their extended warranty.Thanks for the staff for having the patience do deal with me.Last thing I want to do and coming from someone that worked in retail, is ruin your day.

Went in today to collect a TV. The store was absolutely freezing. Felt colder inside than it did out! Almost dropped the TV on the way out I was struggling to keep a hold of it. Poor staff are stuck working in a freezer having to wear hats and scarfs in an attempt to stay warm. I hope it gets fixed soon as soon as possible for their sake.
