Have always received excellent from all staff ....the introduction of the ROBOT prescription retrieval service is invaluable as once the code is texted to you your prescription is ready to collect 24/7Thank you Abbey Chemist Lonend

Absolutely useless! I told them not to remove me from their records as I am not registered with any other Dr anywhere, and the Australian or Kiwi receptionist went ahead and removed me anyway??I was also sent a letter to get a smear test done, which when I phoned up to book it, the narky receptionist at the time told me they didn?t do smear tests and to go elsewhere (couldn?t even tell me where), even though a friend of mine received the same letter from Abbey Medical and was booked straight in for a smear test with one of the nurses at THE ABBEY MEDICAL CENTRE.I don?t know what those two receptionists were playing at and whether they were just having bad days however, they should reconsider their profession because neither are fit or capable when it comes to dealing with people?s health!I have however spoken to a receptionist since who, to be fair, seems to be a lot better at her job and generally better as a human being!I now have to download a form to reregister to be seen which isn?t ideal when you have an emergency on your hands?

Some receptionists are really dedicated for their work. I appreciate their hard work. But some are very poor in providing services and reluctant to do any work. These people need to understand they are getting paid to do the job. Unwell and desperate people are calling everyday to get some help, not to observe their attitude.

I haven't been with the surgery long, but unfortunately I haven't enjoyed my experience.I find it very hard to get an appt, like others I work and I can't come away from my work for hrs at a time waiting in a que just to be told, "sorry none left, call back tomorrow" . There should be a booking system in advance for people who work. Also u can't always get an appt, seems to depend on what receptionist u speak to. I will be looking for a new GP.

Due to a few medical issues this year I?ve had to contact the surgery several times. Although like most practices throughout the country, difficulties have been apparent following the covid 19 epidemic, however,I can not fault the service provided in both doctors appointments and nurse visits. I have received excellent care and attention.I can honestly say that I?ve had the best & most attentive service.

Absolutely impossible to get an appointment!!I?ve tried to make an appointment for 2 weeks straight and every time I?m told the same thingunless you?re able to call at 8am and wait for a call back from the GP at ?some time throughout the day? you?re buggered.I start work at 7:30, I live alone, don?t have family in the area, or friends that I wish to burden with trying to make ME an appointment at this surgery and honestly, I shouldn?t have to either. The online system is a train wreck as well. You need to call the surgery the request the online registration forms are POSTED to you and then return them in person with ID. All of that JUST for the convenience of being notified that they have suspended their online booking system indefinitely. After explaining the difficulties I would have in calling the surgery at 8am, along with everyone else attempting to get a call back to discuss whether they even need an appointment, the receptionist simply repeated the line that they cannot book appointments in advance and I should at least try to call back at 8am.It?s not a surprise that I?ll be moving to a different GP surgery immediately.

Still can not get an appt went down for 8am this morning, absolutely horrible woman on the front desk would not let me in until 8:05, then said i will have to wait as she is busy with the bin men now, after i waited more she then said they never make appointment in advance and i explained i worked and she said i can have :10 or nothing and if i com back any day it will have to be 3:10, I tried phoning and always engaged i have not got through all week however when standing there this morning the phone did not ring once, seems like this receptionist t there this morning does her level best to not make appointment, still no one has looked at my problem with no doctors help in sight, really poor supposed to help

I am not sure the issue is itself with the practitioners rather than with the receptionist who always try to find a reason for you not to get a visit. They will tell you to go to the chemist or something. I understand the necessity to limit to strongly necessary visits but if you offer Public Health Service than the issue might be with the GP practice not having enough staff rather than the problems the customers are presenting. And since we pay taxes for it I?d rather get seen when I ask to be checked because something is wrong, no matter how little important the receptionist (who is not a doctor, from what I know) might think it is.

this place used to be great- however recent experience has lead me to believe that place is dangerous.reception staff who do not listen and have general competency issues- either refusing or unable to after question when something goes wrong- hence cause issues with your working environment when it comes to sick lines causing undue stress and anxiety. This morning was the last straw when I spoke with a general practitioner who has supposedly prescribed stuff to help me get over covid- once this prescription was collected it was for a nasal spray I was already using.absolutely no help what so ever as I was told I was getting more that just this!!No point in calling the place back as I had a recent issue where my questions went unanswered. It has become apparent why this is one of the only surgeries in paisley taking on new patients- however not dealing with this place is probably better for your mental health.and as for the abbey chemist- they are just as bad for prejudice behaviour

Unfortunately this place is full of people without any common sense. They only can help you if their "holy book" describes the problem you may have. No logic whatsoever! Another nonsense is the way how you get to the doctors - by phone in most cases. Nobody wants to see you and they prefer to phone you.

Good afternoon,I attended Abbey Medical Centre today (24/1/22) at 15.00, upon entering the surgery I was asked to wear a face covering however I have a medical exemption which requires me not to wear a covering. Once I showed the lady my proof of my exemption, she said because I do not have a mask on I would need to wait outside the surgery until the nurse was ready for me. I feel mistreated and I am not very happy, I have had 3 doses of the covid vaccine and await my booster, I work for the NHS for 10 years and I just find this completely unacceptable. Is this the normal practice of the NHS today, to make you feel like you are not part of society?, or that you have some sort of disease? Please respond,Martin Howie

Good doctor s practise so far not long joined hopefully I would hope patients views to be considered as opinions for possible improvement rather than be classed as verbal am not saying that's the case and am sure hope doctors are as good as the doctor I use to have who retired I which I have to say was very thorough
