Awesome food! Love the cave like entrance. The sirloin and filet were done just right. The lasagna was lovely but a tad too meaty for me but it is definitely a hearty meal with a French toast on the side. The starters were super yummy too.

Just had dinner in one of the domes. I have to say it was amazing. Service was fantastic, will most definitely be back and may bring my dog Theo with me next time. 1236 is housed in the 800-year Cave Bar within Meldrum House Country Hotel. Serving Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and Dinner, it's a casual dining experience which is open 7 days a week from 9am.
