Been a few times and attended a function also and I have never been disappointed always enjoyed my meal and the staff are very fast and friendly! Highly recommend whether it be a large group or small group.

Lovely atmosphere and no loud background music meaning we could enjoy our dinner peacefully. Friendly and welcoming staff from start to finish. Food cooked to perfection, no complaints. Too full to try the pudding this time. Will be back.

First visit here. Stopped in for meal while passing. Chose based on other Google reviews. Food was very tasty. Service was quick and friendly and prices reasonable. I would highly recommend the seabass.

Had fish and chips. Mushy peas and homemade chips were excellent, as was the tartar sauce they had made. Fish was fresh and tasty, batter was crispy on top but a tiny bit soggy underneath. Still a really good buy for 14.50 as the portion was generous, would go back. Staff were lovely and attentive.

Went for my brothers 21st birthday meal there where around 20 of us tue food was fantastic, service was great and fantastic value for money thank you for a lovely day x

Had a lovely meal at the twisted thistle. The staff were amazing and the atmosphere was lovely too. The food was perfect. There is a parking area and a beer garden. There is also a function suite available for hire.

This place was great. Food was amazing and staff were great. I had the Mushroom Bruscheta and Cajun Chicken pasta. Portions were so big I couldn't finish the pasta. Pasta also came with garlic bread. Would definitely recommend it. Parking was a bit tight due to the time we went, but there are areas around it you can get parked. Some local shops across the road from it too which makes it very handy.

I was on holiday visiting from Canada, I visited the twisted thistle with my mum and I must say the service was impeccable and the servers were very pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere and decor are lovely, I especially loved the fireplace which gave the restaurant a cozy feel and also the different colored chairs are lovely. The food was amazing and the meal was served hot which is very important usually it is not as hot as I would like it, also the passion fruit margarita I would highly recommend the cocktail is delicious. I would encourage you to make your next function or dinner at the Twisted Thistle , you will not be disappointed. I would also like to mention Lorna and lindsay Cullen were wonderful servers at the restaurant and made our visit especially rememberable. Thank you again !
