Very nice place, currently undergoing major building work, but that doesn't affect the bar/restaurant.. Food was nice enough, lovely views over looking the bay.. The Green Roof is the Oyster Inn, stunning views especially when we was flying over the top to come in to land.. Nice place to go for lunch..

We stayed here for a couple nights. The rooms were comfortable with a fantastic shower. Breakfast was superb with a fantastic view from the restaurant. Having a bar on site was very convenient but separate enough from the room that it didn't cause any disturbance at all.

Beautiful dinner here - although I over indulged and ate way too much, the food was too good to resist. Stunning setting over the Loch. The only slight issue we had was the noise in the rooms. The walls seemed rather thin (we could hear next door snoring) but I wouldn't let that impact the stay. Everything was lovely, fairly priced and I would definitely return.

Only stayed one night, was very enjoyable, breakfast and service was excellent, our economy room was basic but clean, good for an overnight stay. Would book a sea view room next time. The Inn has good WiFi (a nice change from most hotels).

In August 2023 we spent four wonderful nights at the Oyster Inn in a very quiet room. Since the hotel is very well located, we were able to easily reach our destinations with the rental car.The hotel's restaurant is a gem! The service staff is very competent and attentive and the kitchen team serves excellent food!!! There is also a really cool pub attached to the hotel, where great food and drinks are served. We would like to thank the entire stuff again for the wonderful stay!!!Rooms: Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig ausgestattet und sehr sauber.Food & drinks: Das Essen ist ein Traum!!

We were traveling with a small dog and booked room through Expedia - we requested and paid for a dog friendly room. When we arrived there was no dog friendly room left so we were given room 10. It was a fairly tired, spartan room in need of some redecoration and better pillows. Amenities comprised a small bar of dove soap and cheap unnamed combo shower-gel/shampoo on the shower wall - not even one of each just some unmarked homogenous combo product. The actual shower was terrific - one of the best ever with amazing water pressure but not enough to elevate the experience of just plain meanness. This is definitely not a 4 star rated room or establishment. Food was good in the pub we had a couple of drinks and I also had soda water which is typically not charged for but of course I was charged £2.50 here. They certainly know how to change in this establishment! At breakfast OJ was basic orange cordial - we?ve been staying in many hotels and this was a first. We both ordered the Scottish breakfast - I asked for a fried egg and my partner scrambled - they both arrived with a paltry (smallest eggs ever) poached egg. When the mistake was pointed out we were told it was because the chef was so busy - nothing about correcting the mistake - which all seemed like it would have been a bit too much trouble. Bad customer service and the whole stay flavoured with a sense of meanness and money grabbing. When we went to hand in our key we were then charged £20 for the dog which had already been paid for. We paid the excessive charge (most establishments charge between £10-15) as already established this place knows how to charge/gouge). Not a great experience and the check out extra charges left a particularly bad taste. Wouldn?t recommend.

The food was of a much better quality than the rooms. We ate our evening meal in the bar which had a big screen and was a nice atmosphere, food was of a resteraunt standard with very pleasant bar staff and open fire.We had breakfast in the restaurant which was not great with stained seats, clear wear and tear which was probably nice when originally decorated but not so much now but again the food was gd although 1st time I have seen a square sausage and the waiter very polite and attentive.Rooms had many signs of needing a freshen up, smallish, yellowish bedding which made it feel dirty, hard rough towels, TV stand on wall but small TV was on the unit, walls very marked, mirror broken. Found hair both in the bed and on the bathroom room. Hallway to the room was freezing as the window has been expanding foamed shut, very shoddy.Rooms: Need renovating and a proper clean.
