We love this place. The oysters are the best I?ve ever had. Great size and so fresh. This time we also had the sharing platter for 2. It?s massive and could easily serve 3/4. One thing I would say is that the addition of the crabsticks, tiny peeled prawns and chewy squid cheapened the experience and was unnecessary. It was clearly not local or fresh. The muscles, squat lobster, langoustine, pickled herring, hot smoked salmon and crab were more than enough.

We had the salmon sandwich - it was too salty for our liking. Others were enjoying fresh clams and oysters. I would probably try that instead.

Very busy, long queue, seafood looked incredible and smelt delicious.. it?s as they say a hut - you kind up grab a seat if you can and feast if you have the time .

It was busy and you can understand why. Great fresh seafood at decent prices. The crab and prawn sandwiches were great. The mussels and the oysters were even better. Can?t wait to go back.

The best meal of the summer. I wish we'd taken photos. Funny, friendly family service, great value, super fresh. Delicious and surprisingly large servings for the price. We got here about 11am, before it got busy. Definitely a highlight.

We ordered a plate of Prawns and a plate of Mussels..the Mussels were almost cold as the cook left them on the side while waiting for the Prawns.nmost alarming though was the Mussels stank of wee! £18 down the toilet. Just hope my head does not follow, after eating a few of them!

Fresh seafood at super reasonable prices. Long lines and barely any space for eating (we ate standing up) should tell you how popular it is. The sharing platter was a good deal but served cold. We decided that we liked the hot dishes better: mussels and scallops. The razor clams were also hot but we didn?t order that one cause we didn?t have enough cash at hand. Yes, they only take cash.

No frills, cracking food, big portion (on the sharing latter for 2) and very good price. Recommend for seafood and shellfish lovers.
