“This is a large Tesco with a cafe and a great selection of products with a fairly well stocked F&F clothing area. Good fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh flowers and along with all the normal groceries there is a good selection of stationary products. Easy to use (although most are card only) self-serving desks at exit with several aisles for staff assisted service, sadly only one member of staff on the tills on this visit, which forces people to use self-service, something I personally dont like, but use as a matter of course. Plenty of trolleys for use and a large carpark with a petrol station to top up, makes this a typical Tesco 'one-stop' for all your products however this Tesco was very clean and the staff I did speak to were polite and helpful so all thing's considered I recommend this superstore.”

“Unfortunately we could not have a drink because the new coffee machine had not been delivered. It is due by mid-May. However, the village store is worth a visit if you are in the vicinity. They stock bread and cakes which are baked locally. They were fresh and tasty. The member of staff was very apologetic about the lack of cafe facilities but that was beyond her control.”

“Lovely local shop, with everything you could possibly need. The owner has a fantastic sense of humour and is friendly and helpful. It’s really hard running a small local business like this and I don’t think that some of the other people that use this shop realise how lucky they are to have such a wonderful resource on their doorsteps. Most of the small shops like this, in towns and villages around Scotland have closed. It’s open almost around the clock and a lot of hard work goes into keeping a shop like this open in such challenging times. Keep up the good work!”
