No problem with NB holiday homes as used them a few times, but stayed at the nook on church street for 5 days terrible shower, bed just a thin mattress no pillow protectors need to be renewed, kitchen facilities very very basic, to be honest the whole flat needs a good clean, would not stay in this property again been to a few places with NB holiday homes this is not the best

Just wanted to thank North Berwick Homes and all the staff for arranging a most enjoyable stay at Quayside Cottage, North Berwick last week (11 to 18 June 2023). Everything was spot on. No hassles, the key was where it should have been and the information provided was informative and straight forward. The cottage was was so calming with views of the sea in all directions. It was also spotless and fully stocked. We popped in to the office on the 1st day and the two ladies in the office were lovely and we felt if we had any issues, they would be sorted out right away. We did not have any and even the the sun shone every day. Needless to say, we would recommend North Berwick Homes to anyone looking to escape to a beautiful part of Scotland. We had just the best time thanks. And as their logo states "we did love it there" Thank you North Berwick Homes

we recently stayed cooleens in north berwick and whllst we felt the apartment itself is lovely, there were major issues with the outside area, which could be absolutley lovely, but is shabby, dirty broken furniture and mouldy cushions. When I emailed to discuss this, with photographs they couldn't even be bothered to respond. Very disappointing and bad customer service, I would have far rather resolved it with them personally than put a bad review online. We have used North Berwick holiday homes for many years so its a real shame they do not have the time of day to have an adult conversation once they have your money

Lovely, well appointed apartment, short walk to centre of town, restaurants and harbour. Bass Rock well worth a boat trip. Also close to the railway station with regular fast link to Edinburgh city centre. Had a wonderful time in mid-May (weather was great - makes a big difference). Val & Brian, West Midlands.

We'd really like to say we hate it, as we don't want anyone to know about it, but we just love this apartment. On the beach, close to shops, comfortable and homely. What more could you ask!

Have been booking with North Berwick Holidays Homes since my children were teeny (the eldest is now near to leaving Uni). They?re always fantastically efficient, helpful, friendly, sort minor issues quickly and with no fuss. Real people to talk to, who know the real answers. Wonderful.

Arrived at 4pm as instructed, considering you have to vacate the premises at 10am you would expect the place to be clean. Well it wasn't, on arrival we opened the front door to be greeted by sand on the carpets and a toe nail on the floor, the kitchen, particularly the oven hadn''t been cleaned. Called NB Holiday homes and the cleaning manager was promptly called out, she was very apologetic and fixed what we saw were the immediate issues (which took her about an hour and a half). As the week went on it became apparent this place was cleaned as quickly as possible and there was dust on all surfaces as well as just a general feeling of the property being left uncared for. We didn't even get a follow up call from NB holiday homes which given how unhappy we were on arrival was very disappointing. They clearly only care about profit and not clients.There is no welcome booklet on arrival, Or any instructions left for the appliances including the central heating, no spare light bulbs, no iron, no ironing board.We stayed at Craigleith Lodge, the house itself is big enough for a small family and in a great location for the beach, it's a little run down but really good overall. Just be aware though it is right next door to the Old Hoose public house so it's noisy on the evenings and drunks argue/hang around outside the front door and there's a lot of noise loading barrels in the evenings late after closing.Maybe we were just unlucky but given Covid expecting a clean property doesn't seem too much to ask when you arrive at a property for a holiday.

Fabulous well organised business who put your mind at ease, by being fully aware of the current pandemic and restrictions that impact on renting holiday accommodation. They give an honest appraisal, warts and all, of each accommodation that you ask them about so you know the quality, decoration, condition and actual location before you rent. They are the only company I would use for holiday accommodation in this area, having stayed in 4 of their properties over the past 5 years. Like an excellent restaurant, once you have tried it you don't want to eat anywhere else.

My daughter , grandchildren and I recently stayed at Bay View apartment.We had a fabulous time, we knew when we booked (late, therefore limited availability of homes) that there were steps up to the apartment, but any slight difficulties this caused i.e. with the baby buggy - were eliminated by the location, access to the beach and wonderful views. We were lucky to have good weather and didn't really use the lounge. Nice little touch on arrival - bottle of wine and some Scottish shortbread! well stocked kitchen, good facilities and equipment. seconds away from the beach and under a minute to the high street! Perfect - we've booked with North Berwick Holiday Homes again for next year.
