Was there today to meet a friend. Took a while for someone to come and seat us. Then we had to ask if anyone was taking our order. Service much slower than it used to be. Not a smiley face from any of the staff. My latte and scone were fine .

I was visiting from Texas and stopped in for afternoon tea and it was absolutely delicious and beautiful. The atmosphere was very warming and inviting. All of the staff was helpful and very attentive. Made the experience amazing!

Nice big flourishing nursery and coffee shop with plenty indoor and some not quite outdoor seating, in the warm covered area which does have a couple of windows, and a little robin that flies around occasionally. Pretty good menu too.

Arrived 10 mins prior to lunch menu starting. Drinks order taken and invited to take a seat then order taken at my table.
Coffee arrived promptly.
Cheese and Onion toastie amazing side salad with dressing/home made coleslaw etc and plenty of cheese and onion on generous slices of bread.
Beautiful views from my window seat. Very popular so would recommend arriving early if you can. The waiting staff are very attentive. Led by professional manager.
Altogether a lovely venue to spend time on a Sunday morning.

What a magical morning we had on Saturday Breakfast with Santa. We were made to feel very welcome by Holly and the team in the Cafe. Santa was amazing and took his time visiting each table, chatting away to the kids. After breakfast we had a lovely visit to Santa?s grotto where we managed to take some great photos and the kids enjoyed playing games. Looking forward to our visit next year.

Solid smallish garden centre with a good selection of gifts, home wares, garden plants etc.
The cafe has a decent selection of food, not anything amazing but decent. A nice place to stop by if you?re in the area.

Bit of a strange atmosphere here, staff very quiet and didn?t even say a word even when bringing our tea to the table. The coffee and walnut cake was very dry, certainly not a sponge cake more like made from oats and treacle!
On the plus side we thought many items were reasonably priced. Maybe we called on a bad day although it was mid week!

Lovely lunch in the cafe today. It's nice to see the kids meals prepared as carefully as the grown ups with good quality ingredients
