A nice little restaurant with lots of lovely options. We booked ahead as there were 7 of us.
There seemed to be only one member of wait staff which meant a little bit of waiting to get initial orders in.
The food was all really nice. The cheese cake was a bit disappointing but the strudel was great.
Important to note that it?s cash only. So use the cash point before you come.

Lovely place. Went there accidentally and can recommend it to everyone. Bit pricier but definitely worth it. Especially the pistachio tiramisu was fabulous. ?

What this man achieves is almost unbelievable. Good food, attention to the customer, good atmosphere. And yet due to circumstances he had no staff that evening. Special. The only disadvantage is that you have to pay in cash here, there is an ATM across the street, but it is super commercial with high rates.

Perfect evening celebrating our twins? 18th birthday with very efficient and friendly service - best waitress ever! The food was hot, delicious and well presented. The haggis was the best I?ve ever tasted. The beef and stout pie was tender and tasty. It?s clear they use the best ingredients and they are perfectly cooked. We had a great meal - I couldn?t fault it - and will be back. Our compliments to the chef! (Candles on the table would give it an even lovelier atmosphere)

On the day of our reservation the owner Dod was running the whole show by his self .
Our food was great . Do your self a favor and order some soup while you?re there you won?t regret it . We all cleared our plates and noticed everyone sitting in there with us also did not leave anything left. I never thought I would find such a wonderful meal in a small town off season. So glad we found this place!

Thus is by far one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The food is superb. We like it so much the first time we went, we booked the next night as well. Best if you book ahead.

We had 6 dinner without prior reservation and bordering on the time limit, however they treated us wonderfully. The dinner was very correct, the truth is that it was one of the best places I had dinner in Scotland.
