Slow service. Apparently understaffed but mostly disorganised. Prioritising takeaways and not people sitting in the cafe. Toffee cake was excellent though.

Was at the till and told to sit down and someone would come take my order. Nobody did so had to then join the back of a now large queue and when got to the front the cheese scone, the only thing I could have, was sold out. There seemed to be total confusion amongst the staff about where to take orders and other customers were confused too, based on their conversation.

Stopped here for a bite to eat on our travels. Door was open so I popped in and was shouted at, we don't open until 11. So I stood outside in shock and an elderly gentleman cyclist went to the door, the woman shut the door in his face so he left. We did the same and went to next town where we had a lovely breakfast and cheery smiling stage, what a contrast. Not sure what the foods like but service like that is unacceptable.

Had lunch here, and bought a gift. Came back about 10 days later, had lunch again, and bought more gifts. This is becoming a dangerous place for me to eat in! The food is lovely. I think the cheese scone was my favourite, but the competition is tough.

Stop what you are doing and drive to this top cafe. The folk are so lovely, the food spot on and the local artwork available for purchase is something else. Thank you for the amazing start to our day ?

Beautiful spot with friendly staff. Their Vickie Sponge is fantastic! Their breakfast rolls are also very tasty and well priced.
