Wonderful restaurant recommended by my father-in-law?s dentist. Service was fantastic, friendly staff, generous portions and delicious fresh seafood. Overall a lovely experience - highly recommended!

All of us (5) were blown away by the warm welcome service and quality of food,the very charming waitress coped with all aspects by herself at the tables not an easy task when many customers to please.

Visited with a group of 10 for dinner last night. Having read previous reviews we were anticipating a great evening. The venue was lovely, and the staff welcoming and pleasant. We had booked in advance so they knew we were coming, and there were only 2 other tables of 2 people in the restaurant - however the service was very slow. After 30 minutes our drinks arrived and after 90 minutes our food started to come to the table. However the food was not all served at the same time with 10 minutes between first and last plates arriving. Most at the table were very happy with their meals but others did not have the same experience. The chicken dish was so overcooked that much of it was inedible. The dauphineoise potato side was fine for most who had it, but one was completely inedible as it was sour - seemed like the last of a previous batch had gone off! Despite this being pointed out no action was taken to remedy. The food was served on cold plates so it cooled very quickly. Those who had the monk fish curry and the steak pie were delighted with their meals, so we left with very different opinions of our first visit since Cammies refurbishment.

I took a friend for lunch and has never been before...well another booking has been made for her and her family. Food, presentation was excellent as well as the food itself. Atmosphere good even though it was quiet due to the football being on. The service is excellent and hosts so friendly and always go the extra mile. I also bought some Earl Grey Tea, as they have now started selling this as well as an assortment of other teas from Shri Lanka. Please visit Cammies and hope you are satisfied, just as much as we were.

Such a variety of fish on the menu. Great food ,presentation and service. Surprised that we had the restaurant all to ourselves but it was a Tuesday. Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend and will be returning.

My Husband and I visited Cammies for a spot of lunch today. We've been meaning to go for a while after being recommened this place by our good friend.Upon arriving, we were both taken by the lovely, quaint scenery and surroundings - I've not been to Cammachmore before and never knew how peacefull the village is - if you're a city mouse like me, you might enjoy this change of pace!Anyway, the restaurant is gorgeous - the decor is clean, modern but with a slightly nautical & country pub twist - it's beautifully done. The short hall is used to display local artwork.The Hosts were simply terrific, they were checking on us regularly, being warm and hospitable - I felt genuinely welcome there.The food... oh the food was glorious! We had prawn dumplings with 3 dips (soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce and chilli oil) and mussels to start. The food was delicious, fresh, clearly homemade and seasoned really well. My mussels were swimming in lovely garlic and shallots sauce ?For mains, we picked the Sri Lankan monkfish curry and a special - a sizzling octopus dish - the chef was more than happy to substitute rice for potato dauphinois when i asked. He also came to offer me rice anyway, which was super sweet!The drinks menu is varied with something for everyone.Our meal came to £66 which feels more than reasonable for the feast we enjoyed - always a bonus!What more can I say? Im delighted this place is on the culinary map of Aberdeen - too often restaurants seem to settle for a boring menu of faux-high dining items that ultimately disappoint. Cammies is not one of these places - theirs is authentic, full of quality produce turned into the most spectacularly delicious dishes. We will be back for sure.(We only took 2 pictures of our mains because the starters were devoured in no time)

Ate dinner here with two small children, staff were so kind and understanding with excitable toddlers. Food (seabass and vegan stir fry) was so tasty, will definitely be back to try more of the dishes

Best crab in Aberdeenshire! We had a large party attending for my birthday and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and amazing food. Iced tea was sooooo good and the crab was the best I?ve had outside of Asia ? 10/10 would recommend and we will be definitely be coming back!

Absolutely amazing food, the quality is outstanding along with the presentation. The food was so fresh and tasty will definitely be returning. The staff are so lovely and very friendly, it was a real pleasure to meet the chef when he came out to speak with customers in person and even asked for feedback especially negative so that they can learn and grow. But there was absolutely no negative feedback to give. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
