1st time at the Newton Mearns branch and certainly the last. Very off hand manner being told my prescription had not changed, I had early Macular Degeneration (given a leaflet and told not to panic!!!!!!) and advised ?No, contact lenses were not advised as this would just ADD to the problem , but feel free to choose new glasses? !!! Deciding to get a 2nd opinion regarding the use of contact lenses with MD I went to Vision Express who, after extensive testing for MD, advised it was very minor and very much in line with my age, certainly nothing to worry about at this stage. My prescription HAD changed AND I COULD CERTAINLY HAVE CONTACT LENSES. Needless to say my comprehensive testing, discussions and reassurances from Vision Express was the service level I would expect from any professional in this field.
