Beautiful hotel, staff were lovely , spa was beautiful.
honestly would of been 5/5 but me and my husband stayed on Friday and our room must of been above the bar. The music and karaoke was so loud. I had to call reception around 10.30 to ask when it would be going off.
12.35am is when it was finally was turned off.
Now I understand they have to play music and people were having a great time on the karaoke but that was an absolute joke. I spent the next day driving 4 hours in the car and I was exhausted.

Nice place, enjoyed the facilities along with the food. However, highly disappointed in the room, planned this trip weeks in advance and requested a double bed, we got assigned two single beds and right above the bar that had a band playing until past midnight. Travelled 4hrs with the wife to have a relaxing night before I headed off to work for 6 weeks and the experience was overshadowed by the speakers blasting away through the bed. That room should come with warnings before booking, I certainly would not have considered staying if those where the conditions you have to sleep in. Although the spa and food where great, I probably wouldn't stay again as I feel the overall experience was not good. Unfortunately

We had our wedding here on 8/3/25 and 1000% Jennifer is the best in the business! This venue is amazing, we had our full day there. I got ready in the morning with my bridesmaids in the boardroom, this room is gorgeous and every MUA's dream with all the natural light. We used all 3 of the function rooms and all of our guests are still talking about how gorgeous the venue was. Everything ran on time and so smoothly that there really is nothing negative to say at all. The coordinators and staff are amazing from start to finish, we will absolutely be back for some overnights and to get the use of the massive jacuzzi tub in the Parklands Suite - there just wasn't any time with how tired we were the following morning lol!

My wife and I had a lovely weekend stay at Parklands, the beds and pillows are so comfortable and the hotel is very modern and stylish , the staff can?t do enough for you.
From the food , the service the added bonus of having a spa, pool and Gym all are first class I can?t understand why this isn?t rated as a 5 star hotel , we have paid much more for so called 5 star hotels that don?t have the facilities this hotel has .
Great value for money .
We will be back

Great food and service.

Very average food, the fish was dry and overcooked. We told our waiter who said he would pass it on to the kitchen. I hope so because we will be back to try it again and see if it has improved

Giving it 3 stars due to the people next door being loud with moaning. Couldn't even hear my own gf moaning.

When my mum passed away in November, we organised a post-funeral buffet at Parklands Hotel. As 10 people were travelling from England, we also booked 5 rooms, one of which was an accessible one. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfy and well sized. The accessible bathroom was excellent, with one minor niggle being the lack of a toilet roll holder!! Meals in the restaurant were all delicious with good portions and breakfast was also well catered for - loved the "tattie scones" and square sausage. It is a little more expensive than alternatives in the area, but well worth the extra with the availability of the gym, spa and pool. It's in a great location - just 2 minutes from the M77 to go to Glasgow or beyond or down to the west coast. I have no hesitation in recommending Parklands Hotel.
Rooms: Spacious, comfortable, well equipped with safe, iron, ironing board, coffee/tea/hot chocolate making facilities.
Noteworthy details: Has a gym, spa and pool attached which are available for use by guests.

Without a doubt the best gym and spa experience I've ever had , would love to join this gym I'd be there every time I had a day off work , pity I stay so far away and not driving yet or I would make the journey from partick , staff were very professional and attentive too , rooms were immaculate and spacious all in all a very luxurious experience ?
Rooms: Rooms were luxurious but unfortunately didn't sleep very well but would be hard to cater for everyone's matress suitability so still wouldn't put me off from returning

Christmas Day at Parklands Hotel & Country Club ? A Massive Disappointment
I?m not usually one for leaving reviews, but after the awful experience my family and I endured yesterday, I feel compelled to share this in hopes of saving others from a similar disappointment next year.
As a family who traditionally enjoys Christmas Day at home, this year we decided to try something different. We booked Christmas lunch at Parklands, expecting a festive atmosphere, good food and a memorable experience. At around £100 per head, it wasn?t cheap, but we thought it would be worth it. Unfortunately, we couldn?t have been more wrong.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear something was off. The atmosphere lacked any warmth or festivity?cold both literally and figuratively. The staff seemed stressed, and we were escorted to a cramped booth in the far corner of the room. We had booked for six people, though two couldn?t make it due to illness. Frankly, six people in that booth would have been impossible; it was barely comfortable for four.
We were directed to a table in the centre of the room for ?hors d?oeuvres??a pitiful display of sad, soggy finger food on stale white bread. Not exactly the start we?d hoped for.
When the starters arrived, they set the tone for the rest of the meal. Served on tiny side plates, the food was carelessly piled high with no thought to presentation. It was obvious nothing had been prepared to order. This was confirmed when the mains arrived just minutes later.
Three of us had ordered turkey, and one chose seabass. The plates were only slightly larger than a side plate and the quality was abysmal. Everything was piled up on the plate, overcooked, mushy and varying shades of brown. The roast potatoes tasted stale, as though they were reheated leftovers and the pigs in blankets were made with the cheapest pork imaginable. Two of us couldn?t stomach it and requested steaks instead.
When the steaks arrived (in a mere two minutes), they were no better. Overcooked to the point of being inedible, with big chunks of sinew dangling from the meat, they were served on the same sad, mushy pile of overcooked sides. It was a far cry from anything resembling a festive meal.
Dessert, if you could call it that, was equally dismal. Clearly store-bought, it lacked any freshness or flavour and none of us touched it.
What made the experience even worse was the dismissive attitude of the staff. When we raised our concerns, the server seemed annoyed. Even the elderly owner, who shuffled around the room asking for feedback, offered only a mumbled and insincere apology when he saw our untouched plates, before shuffling away.
This wasn?t just another lunch?it was Christmas lunch. A day meant to be special, where memories are made. I had flown halfway around the world to spend this time with my family, only to be served one of the worst meals we?ve ever had.
Parklands is also a hotel, so catering for large groups should be second nature to them. Instead, the entire experience felt like a money grab: a rushed, joyless assembly line designed to maximise profit while minimising effort.
If you?re looking for a festive, memorable Christmas meal, I urge you to look elsewhere. Parklands offers none of that?no atmosphere, no care and certainly no quality. Even a dog would turn its nose up at the food we were served.
Food and drinks: Terrible!
