Had a great experience last night on a busy Saturday. Food was spot on. Service was great. Cannot fault it. Loved it. Will definitely be back.

Was very keen to visit following the reopening. Sadly it fell short of what we expected. No salmon available at 4.45 pm, so had to rethink choice. No Brockmans Gin, no draught Diet Coke, only overpriced small bottles. No slimline tonic either. No cheeseboard then told it was back on- it only had two types of cheese and wafer thin fruity bread with it. No grapes, only some stringy looking salad.The chips were like backheated chips. Chewy and tasteless.
The ribeye steaks were very good as was the dirty burger. Servers were very pleasant and helpful. Not sure what was done at refurbishment as the place looked much the same. Did not recognise any staff, which was disappointing.
Afraid the four of us will not be returning soon unless we hear better reviews.

Went on 3rd July for preview of new restaurant before it opens on Friday omg it?s stunning wish I?d took my phone for pictures. But honestly guys you?ve worked your socks off .
Food delicious new restaurant, beautiful service spot on even had wee chat with manager there all fantastic weren?t over top of you like some restaurants.
Definitely be back 10/10 butchers block

Visited last night with a table booked at 6.45 under the name Meiklejohn. We arrived at 6.30 and was asked to take a buzzer and they would buzz us once table arrived, we grabbed a few drinks and a table was ready for 6.45 as promised .
However , our orders were then not taken until 7.20 at which point I had approached the manager to ask if someone could come take our order , he sorted this for us and food arrived at 7.45 , I was fine with this.
45 minutes later , I then had to approach someone at the bar and so for them to chase up our food, this meant we were now at 8.30 (2 hours after entering) and we still hadn?t received our main course.
We had a 5 year old with us who was becoming very restless which of course added to the stress.
Our server Matthew was fantastic , interacted with our daughter and kept her entertained as much as he could aswell as continually apologising .
It would take a lot for me to return to this venue, the food is great, but two hours just to get to the main course is excessive especially with a small child

We visited the restaurant, which was nice with welcoming staff. The restaurant area was very impressive, and parking was available. The food was delicious; we had the signature Miller Steakhouse burgers that came with fries.

I would not go back thought it was too expensive for what you got and we where cold sat nxt to the door asked if we could be moved she never got back to us ,asked for water no lemon as diatry requirement and twice i got lemon , I got a 8inch steak and my son got a 12inch but ended up an 8 after he cut all the fat away will not be back

I had a brilliant dinner tonight at Miller & Carter. Steaks were amazing. Food was amazing. However, when I booked the table there was a ?special requests? section so I filled this in stating it was my sons 12th birthday today & if there was anything they could do to make this special for him it would be greatly appreciated. I even told the waiter. Nothing was done & I spent £130 for the 2 of us. When I put a special request in another restaurant ?Guacho? for my daughter she got a chocolate cake & birthday message on a serving plaque.

Every time I?ve been to the place, it gets worse. Main points - if you sit round at the window side you see loads of rats. The steaks have no taste whatsoever and we had a big group with different orders and they all said the same thing. You wait ages for starters and mains. It?s well over priced for nothing better than a wetherspoons would offer if not worse. Seasoned fries had no seasoning as well. I?m not a chef but even I can cook better steaks than those chefs with very little effort.

Had a 3 course meal for 2 with a couple of soft drinks each which was around £115. A much better location than the city centre venue. Fairly light portions. Decent meal, Staff are excellent, plenty parking. Worthwhile for an occasion treat visit knowing its on the expensive side for value.

Unfortunately not a great dining experience. I can?t fault the staff whose service was excellent but the central heating wasn?t working and my wife found a large black hair in her desert. We were discounted for this but it has really put both of us off ever going again. Something you need to take up with your supplier. Not a good look.

First time at Miller &Carter after family and friends recommended.
To be honest, disappointed.
The starter, nachos, were not very palatable, guacamole was watery and we only ate a few.
Not to be discouraged, we ordered the Chateaubriand, and wanted it well done
..(I know people will criticise) but we waited quite a long time (1 hour and 15mins) and when it came it was still med rare!!! We sent it back and 10mins later it came back and was OK...but the chips were cold .
Table service was Brilliant ?, and the manager gave us dessert for nothing.. which was appreciated.
Won't be rushing back, sorry...

Seats, floor, toilets all filthy. Boiler broken so no heat but no warning when booking or by email. We asked to move somewhere warmer in restaurant and was told by the seating lady there wasn?t anywhere. Pointed out filthy seat beside us to her but nothing done about it until more guests tried to sit down. Management poor. Waiter Tom I think his name was, was very helpful. Steaks AMAZING! Creme brûlée disappointing.
