The BoS Newton Mearns is run by a bunch of jobsworths who can't be bothered to serve you and point you towards machines. The ironic thing is they don't know these machines are replacing them shortly, and they will be unemployed. They do as little as possible. Terrible service.

Staff have an attitude problem: they act like customers are a burden that takes them away from their gossiping with one another or playing candy crush saga in their offices. A manager with a false sense of self importance. Do they hire these people to encourage customers to bank online?

Do not use the machine, you will lose money !
When you tell the staff , they said they will check and will phone you back ,but they never did!
I dont know where the missing money go,first I though I count it wrong!
when my son told me he has the same happen is well missing money , then I started suspicious! so I go home and try to read the review , some people said that too they had missing money!
so now i put money in post office instead go to this bank!

I agree with many of the other reviews here about this branch. The customer service is terrible. The staff are reluctant to serve you, advising you that you can do it online or on the app. Then they try to direct you to do it yourself on the cash machines. And even after the cash machine fails to work and they end up having to do it themselves (ie. their actual job!), they continue to patronize you. It is as if they want to be automated out of work. I doubt this branch will last. No doubt see the same staff move to patronizing customer's at the self-service checkouts in Asda soon.

Everytime you go only 1 member of staff serving for large cash but there is always lots of staff members but never seem to want to have 2 staff to help reduce the Queue.
Gentleman serving is great but a simple cash withdrawal can take you 20 minutes

Be cautious when withdrawing money from the counter. The staff might shortchange you. After the machine counts the money, they hand it to you without double-checking it in front of you. That's how I returned home and discovered I was shortchanged by £20

Visited the branch yesterday and was left with a phone to sort the problem out myself.45 minutes later I gave up and left with the matter unresolved. Very poor service indeed.
