First time to the Newport on Tay branch and it was a brilliant experience. The staff were simply amazing and could not be any more helpful . Always there with a smile and on hand to assist you with advice .

Great service from a knowledgeable, dedicated and helpful team and an good range of frames. I recently changed my frames with new varifocal lenses and am delighted with them.

Service is second none, I broke my frames, the staff contacted the makers as they had been discontinued and managed to secure a pair of the frames at a reduced price, fitted them for me and kept me updated along the whole process. This is the best opticians I have used, highly recommend.

Ferrier & MacKinnon Optometrists is Newport's trusted, local and independent optician - providing free NHS eye exams & honest, professional advice on glasses, spectacle lenses & contact lenses.
There is limited restricted parking outside the shop and there is long-stay parking across the road in Blyth Street.
Bus stops are located around the corner from the practice (about a 1 minute walk) and the number 77 are half-hourly from the neighbouring villages.
