We are in the area having a Long Weekend at Riverview and decided to pop in to the Olive Tree for some Lunch today. We were certainly not disappointed, Amazingly Warm Welcoming from the Lady behind the Counter who Greeted and Seated us, No long waits for Food or Drinks and was served promptly. My Partner had the Cheese & Ham Panini and I had the Breakfast Both were Fantastic and well presented. Amazing little Cafe with Great Staff and Great Options for food. We unfortunately didn?t grab a Dessert however they look fantastic at the counter and we regret not picking one up - Maybe next time.

The food was ok but the service was abysmal. The owner and staff were unprofessional and rude the very first time I went in. No matter what the situation I will never go in there again!

When in Newcastleton, do as the locals do - get your breakfast, lunch and afternoon munchies here! Best staff ever and the coffee is right up there. Very busy!

Called in for a Coffee n Cake break on our way home on the Motorbikes. This was our first visit, we will all certainly stop here again, it's on our list of stop for a break or meal places.

Visited the Olive Tree this morning for some breakfast. The food and drinks were brilliant, just what we needed to start the day. Thank you to the lady who looked after us (sorry we didn't catch your name), but you were great. I picked up some honey and jam to take home too.

We eat here often as do many. The food is always good, well presented and served with a smile. Has a great selection of cakes and biscuits they make themselves all of which are excellent value. Will be back soon.
