Loved our stay at Nethy Bridge hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful gardens and the meals (and drinks) were terrific.

Very far from everything, at first it gives the impression to see how the hallways are neglected, the windows unpainted.....etc.. but when you are there, the rooms inside are fine, although it was the 3rd floor for us, there was hardly any water hot, the food is excellent, very friendly people and a place that seems straight out of a romantic movie....

Giving a big shout out to this place. Great spot we have visited on a few occasions over the years. Friendly staff on the desk, in the restaurant and in the hallways and the food was excellent. We enjoyed breakfasts but particularly impressed by the big lift in quality and choice at dinner. I don?t understand grumpy reviews criticising paintwork and carpets - it?s an older hotel in a wet climate and you?re paying a lower middle price point. Great location, lots of atmosphere plus friendliness and good food = we?ll be back :)

Was keen to stop by for a meal and beer but wasnt the best experience. Bar tender was really nice though but we definitely got greeted with an attitude from a manager becuase we didn't have a booking. Also could tell she was annoyed about me and my partner sharing a meal and just not the usual Scottish hospitality I've been getting used to. I also found the food to be average.

Look man, the place is pretty tired and obviously is past its prime. You're not paying for luxury, though. It's a fun place to stay - the food is fine. There was a very minor mistake involving our vegetarian meals being served with loads and loads of meat but the speed and thorough-ness with which it was resolved made us really smile. Manager on duty (sadly I was pretty battered so have forgot his name) was absolutely class - really friendly and super accommodating. Huge shoutout to Stuart - he did a great job at dinner!
Vibes are bit like... idk fkin weird I guess. But who cares really? Don't come here expecting it to be luxury - but do come here. It's fun.

Quite shabby and worn out inside and out. The rooms are ok though

An old hotel, very worn and in many places it shows signs of lack of maintenance. The food is below average and the staff manage to remove the cover and chairs from a table with a dining guest

I visited for lunch and throughly enjoyed my meal, served by efficient and friendly staff .
If visiting the area this is an established well worth considering.

A lovely Scottish country hotel. A little old, but that's part of the charm. With beautiful wooden stairs, spacious corridors and large halls. The food (dinner) was excellent!

The building may be old but the rooms were well appointed and the beds were super comfortable. If you want super modern this hotel probably Isn't for you.
The staff were very friendly and chatty, we never felt a burdon.
Food was good pub grub standard, the best fish and chips in a while.
Rooms: Garden view room, excellent beds and window to open for fresh air.
Nearby activities: Great walking along disused railway for many miles to next town.
Safety: Rural setting, no problem being out at night.
Walkability: Walking to Granton on Spey is possible if you want a hike.
Food and drinks: Great pub food and excellent value. Fish and chips, beef chilli and burgers were all good. Breakfast was buffet style with everything you'd need.
