Stopped for brunch here today with my friend and 2 pugs before a long drive back home to Glasgow. My 11 year old pug took a seizure under the table I promptly handled the situation and removed him from the cafe until I was confident he was able to return while my friend cleaned under our table. On my return I noticed another dog had arrived said dog began to bark which naturally my dogs barked back. A male member of staff came over and asked us to stop the dogs from barking as it was for quiet dogs only ? I told him if the other dog would stop barking then mine would to. It states well behaved dogs on the front door and website not quiet dogs. Said dog barked again so mine barked back again the male member of staff and a female at his back came swiftly over to our table and told us we would need to leave. The male member did ask us if we wanted to sit outside(in the rain) we politely declined this offer and left. While leaving the female proceeded to interrupt and tell me it was because my dog was sick but she failed to mention a problem at the time and still proceeded to bring our food out after this event and didn?t mention a problem as stated before my friend cleaned it and I offered to mop the floor also. As I stood up to leave the female was stood behind me still attempting to justify their behaviour as I was trying to leave in peace and because I choose to ignore her as she was now attempting to wait another table while still speaking directly to me what I can only describe as threw a toddlers tantrum and slapped her hands off her sides as she realised I was leaving. The other dog owner remained seated without hassle during this. I would 100% boycott this ?dog friendly? place if you have a dog who has potential to bark! Certainly wouldn?t be treated like this in Glasgow!

We had a wonderful afternoon tea which was both delicious and amazing value. You must order 24 hours in advance but it is worth planning to!

This is a gem of a place, great selection of food for breakfast, lunch or just a quick snack. We had a selection of cakes and scones, all of which were delicious. It is a really busy place, popular with locals and tourists.

Came twice in our week in the area. Great portions and great tasting food. Good price points. Well worth a visit on a cold day!

We called in here a few times during our week in Nethy bridge. We would have liked to sit in the cafe but even though dogs welcome ours has a tendency to steal food from tables so we got takeaways!. we all loved the vegan sausage sandwiches, the scones and the St Clements cake. We would definitely go again when we next stay in Nethy bridge.Thank you :)

We visited this place several times over two family visits to Nethybridge. The food is amazing, everything I had was the best one I'd ever had - the soup the scone, the pancakes, the hot chocolate. The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and my young daughte also loved it. It is light and airy, with a variety of art on the wall, and a gift shop selling local crafts. Would go there right now if I could!

We stayed in one of the Nethy House rooms for 4 nights. It is set in a beautiful part of the country and is an ideal location for touring around various and interesting places. The room is ensuite & has a very comfy sofa and TV and full tea / coffee making facilities. There is also a shared kitchen area with cooker, microwave and fridge should you want to eat in any night. The staff were wonderful - big thanks to Minnie for a very hospitable welcome and to our cleaner (Tracy, I think?) - very friendly staff and all very helpful. The coffee shop / tearoom downstairs provide excellent breakfasts and lunches (with a discount for room guests as an added bonus!) - the food is top class - again the staff were wonderful & very friendly. We had a grat break for a week & will definitely be back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Repeat visit four years on from when we were last in the area. Delighted to find that the food is still delicious and good value, service friendly, and the cakes scrummy! Hopefully won't be four years until we're back.

I stayed as a guest in their rooms for seven night sand also ate in the cafe on several occasions; would strongly recommend both! . My room was clean and well furnished, there is a small kitchen for guests. The food was of good quality, staff were pleasant and helpful and overall, it gave good value for money. Breakfast not included, but easily available in the cafe from 8am. One point- if you want a quiet room, ask for one overlooking the car-park. Would certainly stay there again

Really lovely place to stay - very comfortable and cosy rooms, well-equipped kitchen, and fantastic food from the cafe. Very friendly staff and owners, and a great location for exploring too! Would absolutely recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area, or looking for lunch, tea, cake, etc.
