£6.50 for the worst sandwich I ever had (cheese and pickle). No hot food on offer, toilets are a bit messy.

Ran out of pizza by 1pm. The girl behind the counter didn?t seem to have a clue about their specials. She then suggested we paid the £40 to get the train to the top for pizza. Tables were also covered in crap. Awful experience. We?ve now driven down to Aviemore & enjoyed pizza at The Balavoulin which was amazing, very clean pub, very friendly staff and dog friendly which is a must for us.

Beautiful views as you'd expect on top of a mountain but the coffee and hot chocolate were terrible, we didn't finish it. From a self service programmed coffee machine. Not very nice at all.

Very poor quality food and for a portion of mac cheese with fries 14.50 pounds very small portion. I understand everything but the prices are high. Better to eat in the town of avimore cheaper and tastier food.My orders cost me 41.50 pounds in total I do not recommend this place ???

Great place to take a break after being out in the cold skiing. We had hot drinks and lunch here yesterday and today. Food was perfect for what we needed and very reasonably priced too. Staff all really lovely and friendly. Special mention to Graham who was helping everyone find a table and clearing up. He didn't stop. Such a lovely, friendly welcome and the sort of employee every place needs.

The food was good but a bit pricey with an ordinary ham salad sandwich at £7. We also had 2 pepperoni pizzas, a side of chips, a pulled pork and dirty fries basket and soft drinks all round and the total came to over £70, a bit mad considering what we'd already paid in activities and the fact that's it's advertised as a cafe, not a restaurant. The interior was nice and clean and the serving staff were great. The views were fab, I wished we'd picked outdoor seating! The major negatives were that there was a birthday party on the upper floor with the continuous tooting of party blowers which gets old VERY quickly and I took my daughter to the loo 3 times during the course of our activities on the mountain and each time there was a male cleaner in the ladies with no signage saying he was in there which I didn't like at all. The toilets should have been closed while the cleaning was being done or a sign up at the very least to warn of a man in there. We were already in the first time he came through the door and everyone just turned and looked at one another in confusion
