Nice views but wouldn?t stay again.Bedrooms extremely outdated looks like they haven?t had a touch up in which seems like 30 years. Also decor around the place is a confusing nothing matches at all looks like they are not sure what direction to go in with style. I am confused because it was shut for refurbishment before we booked but generally looks like it hasn?t been updated in a very long time. Our shower head had mould growing out of it and we also found a random pill on the floor along with a cut straw with white residue on it (looks like it was used for snorting ) on our bedroom floor. There was no hot water available in our room so I couldn?t have a shower or bath which is probably more of a blessing than a curse due to the rampant mould growing in shower head ?Very little to no staff around you have to go hunting for a member of staff or go to reception in order to get a drink at the bar, I guess the place must be very understaffed because what little staff that are around were seen trying to manage multiple jobs. Would like to note the staff were lovely and as helpful as they could be.Breakfast was okay.Only really good thing is the views are stunning, they also have beautiful highland cows you can walk over and see and it?s a short walk away from the sea.I wouldn?t recommend staying at this hotel but I do think it makes a good wedding venue for the day.

Our room was clean and a really good size. The hotel is a lovely old building with a great walk down to the beach. We ate in the restaurant where the staff were really friendly but the food really wasn't great, we had to send our starters back. Great for somewhere to stay but maybe eat elsewhere.

Beautiful hotel, close to the lovely town of Nairn. Beds were very comfy and facilities in room were great. Young man behind the bar was very helpful giving us recommendations for fish and chips in town. Only draw back was the slow wifi and the tv in the room was positioned so one side of the bed couldn?t see it at all.

The architecture is great. It has an odd layout which adds a sense of history to the inside. Has a very warm home feeling.

Great hotel, very friendly & helpful staff, set in a quiet area with extensive grounds, great food choices, good menu, lovely breakfast, steak pie was great on menu,Large room with massive bed, usual kettle/tea/coffee & a couple of shortbread biscuits, ironing board/iron & safe also in room.Charlie Chaplin themed areas dotted around hotel also, quite nice ?I would stay here again no problem.Only issue i can think of is creaking floorboards around hotel.
