I recently handed in a Golf trophy to be engraved at Timpson Musselburgh, and I have to say the service I received was nothing short of first class.
On a previous occasion, the engraving was completed in less than 12 hours, so when this one took a little longer (48 hours), I popped in to check on it. Manager Craigy T explained honestly that it hadn?t gone to plan and that, in his opinion, the result wasn?t up to the high standards he expected. Rather than hand me something he wasn?t proud of, he took the initiative to order a brand new full plate for the trophy and redo the entire job ? at no extra cost.
To my surprise, he didn?t even charge me the £15 for the work. I would have been more than happy to pay, but the amount itself is insignificant compared to the true value of respect and loyalty earned by the way Craigy handled the situation.
Not only did he show honesty and integrity, but he also demonstrated genuine pride in delivering quality work and maintaining Timpson?s reputation for excellent service. True to his word, Craigy called me the next day, and within 24 hours the engraving was ready ? perfectly done.
The way this was dealt with has absolutely won me over as a loyal customer. Craigy showed personal standards of excellence, backed by a company that clearly trusts its people to do the right thing.
Indeed, Great Service by Great People is more than just a strapline here ? it?s exactly what I experienced. Well done, Craigy, and thank you for going above and beyond!

Went in near closing time to get a key cut, service couldn't have been quicker or more helpful. Really friendly as well. Will definitely be going here again in future.

With unparalleled skill and integrity, he patiently cleaned and revived my watch after a battery leak, yet humbly refused payment, knowing it might falter again. His generosity and craftsmanship stand as a monument to time. ;-)

Gem of a place, and very friendly service, started getting all our visa photos done here and the new system checks the photos meet the spec for each country's spec. Our first choice for their other services too.

I needed help to redo my passport photos which I?ve done at a different Timpson shop in Edinburgh, but unfortunately didn?t meet specifications for the Polish passport. The staff was very helpful and made sure I was happy with the photos and they met specs. Amazing customer service, thank you!

Needed a heel.on my boot repaired as company I bought them from being awkward about me returning them even though only 1 month old.Guys in Timpsons Musselburgh so helpful , it only needed a staple and he fixed it free of charge. EXCELLENT service
