Usually I am quite pleased with travelling with East Coast and Lothian busses but yesterday I had to take the X6 from Haddington to Fort Kinnaird. It was supposed to arrive at 3:10 but it came 45 minutes late at 3:55. I was waiting outside along with some other people who were waiting for the same bus in the freezing cold as it was the middle of December. I have seen this before as the busses are always at least 10 minutes late and no one is doing anything about it. This should not be normalised. You would not see this happening with trains or other vehicles. Public transport should always be on time since people need to get to places like work, school and airports. Also people should not be stood in the freezing cold for ages just to get a bus. Please fix this!

Working at Macmerry ind.est. 6/9/23 was advised delays at Strawberry Corner. Strange that X6 passed 5.10 goin to Haddington the reappeared 25mins later. Last thing needed after 12hr shift Is an extended wait for a bus that should have been at stop at 5.07. Only giving one star because at least it eventually turned up.

I'm on the 141 picked up at Dalkeith at 6.30pm I swear to god I have never met such a rude driver, they are getting worse and he drives like a maniac, sort them out for goodness sake they should be ashamed of themselves!!!!

An absolute disgrace - had a meal booked in Edinburgh yesterday for 12.30 was supposed to get the 11.07 X6 from Haddington but it was 11 mins late in arriving and just got progressively worse throughout the journey. We should have arrived in Edinburgh just before 12 but didn't arrive until just before 1pm (AN HOUR LATER). So we lost our deposit for our table reservation and only had an hour left to eat our meal instead of the scheduled 2hrs and had a subsequent knock-on effect for the rest of our planned day. Wish I could say will never use again but then we have nothing else to rely on to get into town. You need to do something more to help outlying areas get onto town and stick to your advertised timetables.

This is the worst bus company on earth. I get the 140 to work and it regularly just doesn't show up. 4 times this week alone I've had to wait an hour or more. If you only provide one service every half hour then you can't do this to people! It also regularly shows up earlier than scheduled, so you go at the time on the planner and it's long gone. They don't tie in with Google or the app. I asked a driver about this and he said, "so many of the guys just don't turn up fo their shifts". Even the actual buses are a joke: no route screen to see where you are, no announcements - just guess, everyone! I'm new to the area, having lived abroad for years, and it's like Ive gone back in time. Get your shittogether East Coast. You're an embarrassment.

Driver on the 06.50 113 Musselburgh to Granton this morning was extremely unhelpful. Day ticket ripped in half while trying to pull it from the machine. Refused to replace it and told me to just get some tape instead.
