I would not recommend this shop based on my recent experiences. On two separate occasions, I encountered staff members who declined to serve me, citing concerns about my bank card, despite having used it successfully at the store in the past without any issues. When I raised my concerns with the manager, I was informed that I should not return to the shop, as they felt I was being disrespectful to the staff.
It's disappointing that a staff member can make such accusations, and I believe it?s important to address these matters constructively rather than feel like I'm being treated unfairly. My complaint to the manager unfortunately did not lead to a resolution.
This shop was once excellent, but it seems that recent staffing changes have led to a decline in service quality. While I appreciate the past experiences I've had, I have decided to take my business elsewhere, where I feel my honesty and integrity will be respected.

Post office refuses service during their contractual opening times. They?re breaking their contract and annoying the customers. Their trading hours aren?t the same as on the Royal Mail website. You need to speak with them and get them to change their hours of service or close the post office service if they?re not willing to provide a service.

I?ve been to this post office a few times and honestly the woman with the blonde hair serving is so so so rude and hostile. Been countless times and been told that the post office is shut or the system is down etc during opening hours, which is fine but the woman is so rude. Better off going to the post office in netherton which is where I go now, much friendlier.

The Spar were brilliant during lockdown especially. Always stocked up and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly too.

Just a few days before Christmas and went in to use Post Office just looking to buy a stamp for a card and rude female had a sign up to say she wasnâ??t serving because she was catching up. Did her best to ignore me but when I asked how long she would be said at least half an hour. For goodness sakes itâ??s the middle of the afternoon with just 5 days to go. Anyway I had to leave without my stamp and walk to the next nearest post office! This is what happens when you close dedicated post offices and reopen in shops with poorly trained and incompetent staff.

Handy store but the security guys seem to think they are James Bond. I've seen customers followed isle to isle and chastised for checking bread dates. I've also seen the security staff serving customers at the till and packing shelves which I was uncomfortable with. Nothing wrong with store just old men security staff acting like army.

A large shop which stocks everything you would expect from groceries, fruit, papers magazines. It is situated on the main road and provides a cash machine outside. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and the shop is nice and clean. They often have offers on and one of my favourites is 3 bottles of wine for a tenner.
