Bought a audi a5 22 grand car put 4 grand deposit and the experience I have had is being nothing but absolute disgrace.4month later fault in car they have had my car 9weeks and car came bk n not fixed properly. Been to finance company also head office seem experience as the other reviews I have been passed about no help what so ever no one phines back. Phoned ever day for 2w.Waiting on Darren curthburtson (head guy) to call bk still nothingThis company has been the worst I have ever debt withThe sales men are nice n a good laugh but as said be4 when something wrong way car no help what so ever.Trying to intimadte me cause I am a lady when questioned on anything they deflected.Still now waiting in a response from some higher up.Please do not buy a car from Peter vardy motherwellNatasha black

Good Evening,I thought I would sit and write this email to you in relation to your company, and the service I have received every time I visit your sites.I have now bought 3 vehicles from you in I think about 9 years and I am about to buy a 4th car from your Motherwell branch , from walking in at your big store at Hillington I think 10 years ago with my wife and my then 3 year old twins, we were greeted with a smile from the front desk and given passes or I think badges and we went into the massive showroom, we were introduced to the staff and I think it was the manager Alistair Paige who took us for a seat and a coffee and actually showed interest in what we needed and listened to what we desired (all the time with my tornado twins trying to get to the animal car and ice cream van !) Alistair got them both an ice cream and I always remember saying to him they may regret getting them cones, with a quick comment from Alistair saying forget it there kids and do not worry about a thing !! All the time your other staff all were walking by and saying hello and interacting with the twins ! We looked at several cars and my wife chose a great Vauxhall Corsa, we got a great deal and it was all done and collected 3/4 days later, since then we have bought another Corsa (red flame one) and I have bought a Vauxhall Insignia a beautiful sky blue one with all the add ins like leather seats etc, we went to your store just there on Monday 23rd at 18:45 only to be told you close at 19:00 but again was told don't worry about this as Alistair said they would stay open !! What a great way to make customers relax and feel important! Not only this Alistair introduce me to what I thought was another sales manager saying Mark ,Annemarie this is Peter I shook his hand and said how'd you do ! Alistair said no it's Peter ? I again said how'd you do only to be told by Alistair no It's Peter Vardy !! Your owner again spoke to us like he has known us for years and a good friend ! This is the reason and why I took time to sit and write both our feelings down, all to soon do you hear bad stories about car salesman and I wanted to let you know the service we have had from your company is second to none and you have honestly made customers for life ! And I would gladly give any prospective customers my thoughts on your company Peter Vardy and your manager Alistair Paige, I think we aim to pick up the 4th car at the weekend and we both cannot wait.Again many many thanks for all your great cars and service throughout the years we have been customersKind RegardsMark & AnnemariePs the twins are not 13 and are typical teens who think it's not cool to hang about with their parent car shopping now !If anyone wants any information please do not hesitate to email me !!

Update: finally got the car in to be sorted in November, (bought car in June). However I went to pick up the car having been informed car sorted and fault still remains.As we live an hour away by car and hour and a half by train this is not ideal. so left car at the Motherwell branch. Added photo to show been in to branch. Car is a silver vw Tiguan. Sales people just blame the service department. Noting the response to original post, Head office just pass you to the 'branch or central booking', and aren't actually or actively bothered to sort out issues.Think I'm a one off? Check out the other 1 star reviews.Original post: Awful experience when buying a car. Wish never bought from this organisation. Car originally bought at Glasgow, which was the beginning of the saga. Had issue with car that has yet to be sorted and been given the run around ever since. The patter is great, but the real customer service is awful.I ve seen a post about courtesy car being available but when asked, it's something they don't offerI would give no stars if I could.Before you get the car they ask for a 5 star review and after the patter it seems a reasonable request, however, they turn a deaf ear if you have issues once you get the car

Absolute disgrace of a dealership CARZ Motherwell is to deal with from start to finish, if this is how they treat people during sales, you can imagine how they treat people in after sales if I could rate lower than one star I would.My wife registered interest in a car, paid the reserve fee on the car and shortly after someone was in touch, they quickly run through some things and then sent an email with option extras to add on and said they would be in touch shortly, a few moments later phone goes, not interested in any optional extras and they couldn't get off the phone quick enough.Few days go by the car reserve runs out still not heard anything from the dealership, Saturday rolls up and the next thing she receives a phone call about finance, going forward someone will be in touch shortly.Roll on a week later, heard nothing from them at all, tried to contact them on multiple occasion trying to get an update and absolutely nothing, get through someone says hold on will chase that up phone you back in five minutes, they never bother phoning back in five minutes, I try to phone again get put onto someone else then the same thing happens again.I am trying to get a hold of them because we have taken business elsewhere and we want our reserve fee back due to the fact that that the dealership hasn't bothered their arse with anything which is surely illegal as they could waste everyone's time just so the reserve lapse and they keep that money, they ignore phone calls constantly, don't reply to emails, the lack of communication between members of staff is just absolutely astounding, asking to speak to a manager and now "cant get through to anyone, they will give you a call back" even spoke to a supposed manager named Gary who's exact words was " If someone say's they will call you back then they should call you back, I'll deal with it personally and I will be the one to phone you back" safe to say Gary did in fact not call back.I will change my review once I have gotten a refund on my deposit.

Once you buy a car from these crooks, that?s it, they just don?t care. I have dealt with several garages in last last 10-15 years and this has been the worst I?ve had experienced. Cars been in the garage for repairs with their Edinburgh partners for the last 8-9 weeks. These guys are well aware since I bought from Motherwell but couldn?t care less. They have 0 knowledge of customer service. They never ever return calls. They simply cannot pay for a job that?s been done almost 2 weeks ago and as a result cars not being released to me. This is how much they care after you pay them off. Stay well clear of this company. Buy a car else where.

If I could give them less than 1 star I would. Never be taking another car out with them again it?s been an instant regret since the second we left the garage with the car. Had a Problem with the car then takes them months to look at it and when they do look at it the exact same problem happens a month or so later, customer service is the worst I?ve experienced. 4 phone calls have been made in the last few weeks only to find out day and time the service is due and hear every time someone will give you a phone back to never get one at all due to this missed the service day and that?s all I phoned to ask what date and time was service (a simple answer) this is not the first problem had with trying to get a hold of them they were brilliant but once you?ve bought the car they couldn?t care less and practically impossible to get in touch with someone apart from the receptionist who answers the phone. Avoid at all costs

I'm a member of staff. Got my Astra's annual service done using the service plan at PV Carz Motherwell. Provided me a decent courtesy car to get to work which made it all possible. When I got my car back at the end of the day, the service book was stamped and I could definitely feel the benefit of the service - car felt "tighter" and smoother to drive. They kindly got rid of a squeak in the clutch and tightened the handbrake and pedals. Left car nice and clean too! Only reason it's 4 stars was that I was unable to get through to service desk on 2 phone calls. I would come again next year. Thanks a lot!

I bought a car from Peter Vardy Motherwell. When I went and saw the car, everyone was very friendly and tried to help. after the test drive I reported a problem with the speaker in the windshield (driver's side) they said they would fix it before I get the car. I took all possible assurances from them. The day I picked up the car, I noticed that the windshield had 3 cracks (chips). I told them I wouldn't sign the contract if it wasn't resolved. When I saw the car, there was nothing on it. They promised to send someone to fix my windshield that same week. I signed the contract and got into the car. Before I left, I opened the front windows. The car was washed so well that I scratched both my windows because of them! between the window seals was gravel and sand. I got out of the car and went to report the problem and they said they would fix it. I still haven't solved the windows. (after almost 2 years). The guy with the windshield didn't come and I had to call him for 3 months to fix my windshield. The speaker issue has not been resolved even now. I have reported it month after month, to no avail. After 5 months of phone calls with petervardy and HR, complaints to customer service, the EGR valve broke. I called them and no one answered the phone. when they answered and heard my name and what car I bought, they hung up on me. I went to the garage and they let me wait for 2 hours to schedule me for service in another 2 months. until finally, when they checked that it was the egr valve, they told me to pay for the diagnosis and that my insurance does not cover the EGR VALVE. "It's been a long time since I bought the car and the egr valve may have worn out." If I report the problem 5 months after buying the car and everyone laughs at me, won't answer my phone, won't take my car in for service, where is my fault? after almost two years nothing has been resolved with my insurance. I have petervardy insurance + CarCare insurance. I paid a lot of money on insurance to end up fixing it myself? I do not recommend this company to anyone, before you buy the car everyone is friendly, after you signed the contract they ignore you and avoid you! In short: from the first day I got the car from them, I was very disappointed. the car inside was full of dirt and very dirty! broken windshield, scratched windows. I have all the assurances I saw on the sheet when I was offered, the employees are very incompetent, they don't answer the phone and when you go to them they promise they will fix it. after two years in which I gave them the chance to repair my egr valve under warranty, I decided to leave a review with my experience! AVOID PETERVARDY!

Friendly and welcoming service. We were given all the information we needed to make an informed decision and there was no pressure or hard sell. David was very helpful and patient, with nothing being a bother. There is a good choice of cars, with the car being as described on-line. We had the opportunity to test drive before we made our decision. Handover went smoothly. We have purchased with Peter Vardy before and would highly recommend them.

Never bought a car from Peter Vardy before , Great experience from start to finish , What amazing staff . Weren't sure what we were looking for but salesman Davie Hughes took time with us to show us cars on offer within our budget , picked up car from the handover team today and Callum made sure the car was perfect before we left ,and again Davie and Callum came out to make sure we were happy. Thanks again, Amazing service.

We bought this car a few weeks ago , after seeing it advertised at carz , we were well looked after by Gary madden , who , from start to finish was outstanding . We felt valued and cared for by Gary with no added pressure . Unfortunately during handover, the drivers wing mirror was noticed to be scratched , which handover team missed . We found handover team to be disappointing , with lack of communication, so we dealt with Gary directly, who?s service was absolutely outstanding and resolved issue with car , will highly recommend to anyone buying a car , to contact Gary ??

We visited the store recently and were greeted by salesman Kevin McCrum. Kevin took some details about what we were looking for and what was important to us and found us a great car within the budget we choose ourselves. I must add I was not an easy customer.Our car was ready to collect within a few days.We had great communication with Kevin during the sale and overall were happy with the service.

Truly awful. Only care about sales and have no regard for loyal customers. Repeated cancellations of car service despite having a paid plan. Gutless, faceless and factually incorrect cancellation SMS?s, zero apologies and absent customer service from staff. Avoid at all cost. Won?t get another penny from me. Not sure who is running it now, but it?s went downhill fast...To Team PV: No, you had your chance and you can easily find me from the public info I have given if you really care. I am done chasing.
