I actually had an ISA with this bank for saving, but I withdrew all of the money for a holiday back in 2004, so I haven't been in since. However, I know it has been refurbished and is apparently much more roomy and light inside. My main point of this review is to advise you to steer clear of the cashline outside of this bank. It is so slow, and takes ages to get you your money, which is not good, especially since that part of town is usually crawling with drunks and junkies any time after 5pm. I wouldn't say it is safe, and I would never go alone. It has also swallowed my card before, which was pretty awful, as the bank was shut at the time. I'm not the only one this has happened to, a couple of my friends have had it happen over the years also. Go to another cashline, or just switch it! It's not worth the hassle.
