We stopped in for dinnerThe food was quite disappointing I had chicken breast with haggis and a pepper sauce my companion had macaroni cheese.The chicken breast was quite dry and the sauce wasnt that good.The macaroni tasted very salty and I'm not sure if it was home made .

Didn't stay in the rooms so I can't say much I was on my way past it but stopped for a wee lunch I got macaroni and chips and the food was gorgeous would definitely reccomend if your passing by to stop by and give it a tryStaff were kind wasn't to busy and the food was great had to leave a reviewFood & drinks: Loved the food only thing I would say to maybe change is the glasses for the drinks they were a bit weird to drink from but otherwise loved it

Stopped off when travelling for evening meal was not disappointed. Fish and chips very good, biscoff cheesecake excellent. Food served quickly, staff very friendly and good prices. A wee gem in a quiet village.

Not the best experience, i.e., you ask for a steak well done, and it comes out still alive.Food was not that great.Don't expect a decent portion size.

Spent 2 nights as we were attending a service up near Banchory and wanted to break our journey both ways., Very good VFM, breakfast was absolutely outstanding freshly prepared great selection including nice and crisp toast accompanied by a very decent cup of tea. I would say in my 65+ years of experiencing breakfasts in the UK this ranks as number 1. Bed very comfortable, clean room and good shower facility. Bar prices very reasonable and wide selection of good quality dishes on the food menu. Nothing to do in Inverbervie but easy to commute further north and would recommend Stonehaven with great outdoor heated pool suitable for adults and kids!

Awesome place to gothe room we stayed in was lovely and very large looks freshly decorated .We had dinner here both nights of our stay and its was superb , prices were great had a great laugh in the bar with the locals and the staff were great. we have booked again for later in the year

Made a reservation months in advance, and they charged our credit card 2 days before the stay. We arrived late in the evening, but before the stated check-in hours ended and there was no one there to check us in. I tried calling the number, even went to the local pub and found someone who knew the hotel keeper. He attempted knocking on doors and calling and even offered us his home for the night. We were left in a very bad spot without a room for the night and had to drive another 25 minutes to a chain hotel that had available rooms. Don't book here. I will now have to dispute the charge with my credit card company because they are not responding to my message.
