I took my grandkids here to have a drink and snack and I had a hot chocolate and a slice of Victoria sponge cake which was dry with a slab of cream in the middle, didn?t like it. The girls were ok with their pancakes.

First time in Montrose and glad I found this gem. Hearty bowl of soup, coffee and cake, all went down a treat. Very busy but quick and friendly service. Located in a lovely building too, I'll be back to investigate this lovely town a bit more.

What a building. Just an incredible old building which, is worth visiting alone, if you like such things. I judge by coffee. It was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Great spot.

Just popped in for some refreshment, pot of tea for two overpriced at £5.40. And not the best. We have had better and cheaper.

Ate in here yesterday! It was terrible the place stinks of stale cooking oil our paninis were rubbish coke out a bottle and flat and grossly overpriced my g f paid 17.60 certainly not worth it avoid here at all cost.

Revised because it's been awful today.
Chicken hard, no sauce detected in coronation chicken. Salad with 2 small cucumbers and half a small tomato. No more crips. Menu slimmed down. Prices gone up. Cannot recommend. Sorry. Rationing a salad, what next.

Food is great, staff great when not being told off infront of customers and unfortunately I won't be back anytime soon with the white mould all over the ceiling. Continuous ventilation is required
