We used Brit stops to stop here.simple parking no services but can use the toilets when open.we only had s few drinks and the food had stopped for the evening.The staff and regulars were very welcoming and friendly towards us . Good night's sleep we were joined by another motorhome.will definitely stay again.

The old stables inn is just five minutes off the motorway but be aware if you have used the post code on your sat nav it may take you into a small housing estate the entrance is just about twenty yards past that turn off.
We had the motorhome and parked overnight you do not pay any site fees but it's recommended that you have a few drinks or a meal there is room for five motorhomes.
There was a bit of noise coming from the people out
side the bar but there were no problems
We both had meal Ange had a chilli con carne I steak and Stornoway black pudding pie ?.
The staff were very attentive and very nice.
Over all we would stay there again with the van and also if we were going down south from Scotland with the car would stay in the Inn.

Staying down the road we booked a table for 6 at short notice. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and our table was ready for us. Food arrived promptly and was of a very high quality. Ended up staying all evening!! A very pleasant experience and would not hesitate to visit again if in the area

Recently stayed here on our way back home from Scotland. Lovely friendly young lady who looked after us. Our evening meal and breakfast were delicious. Accommodation was clean enough but definitely very tired and could do with a make over.

we called to see if we were able to stop over for the night in our motorhome. we booked for a evening meal and was advised that last orders were 7.30. but would stay till 7.45. we had to xall and cancel as we won't be there till .8.15 and asked if we could still stay. we were welcomed at the bar and after a drink ae asked if we could order breakfast and was told it had to be ordered by 8 and it was now 9pm but it was not an issue. both our order for a cooked breakfast was taken . we had a really quiet night and went over for breakfast. we were told to help ourselves to cereal. yoghurt and juice . the breakfast arrived and did not disappoint. I also got a filter coffee. the breakfast came also with toast. I wish I took a photo of it .on the vine cherry tomatoes, beans in a small dish ,2 rashers of bacon , black pudding,sausage, mushrooms and a fried egg . Needless too say it was too much . The owner is such a lovely chap and knew we missed the evening meal and said the if we tell him next time what we want he will keep it back for us .
Trust me we will be back . its going to be a favourite
