The staff were fantastic, the restaurant layout and ambiance was great. Couldn?t fault it. Starters were really delicious and fresh. Two main courses, pasta and calzone. Pasta was again delicious. The calzone looked beautiful. The space and pastry were exquisite. And then the shock. As I cut into it it was clear that the chef had used thin sliced processed ham from what seemed like a budget pack. The ham was revolting. Packed together in clumps of three and four and not even attempted to be separated. It wasn?t a good look or taste.
This is a such a good restaurant. Stand out staff. Most of the food was beautiful. Just need to be consistent with the produce.

We visited for the 1st time last night during our stay in Moffat ...after being told in a local pub that we would enjoy it , they certainly weren't wrong & thank goodness for google as we may not have found it as it isn't on the main street ! The service given by the waiter was exceptional & he was happy to tailor our food to our requirements, even on a busy Saturday night which was amazing...when the food arrived it was so good . We were totally bowled over by our visit after a last minute booking . The waitresses were all so friendly too which enhanced our whole experience , I wish other places gave such fantastic service with such passion for their customers ...thank you !

Unfortunately we were charged £4.50 for three small pieces of garlic bread. As there were two of us I asked for another slice. We were charged an extra 50p.
Sorry I didn?t leave a tip as that was very petty ?.

A wonderful Italian restaurant. The staff here are amazing! They couldn't have been more warm and welcoming to us, and we ended up going quite late, and yet they still served us, and made sure we got pudding too! The staff went above and beyond to make sure my food was prepared safely and separately to avoid cross-contamination, which was very reassuring. I had the gluten-free seafood marinara, but there were so many options to choose from, I must go back! Everyone else really enjoyed their food, the proper coffee was excellent too. It is a little pricy, but we did go in the evening, so that is to be expected. I cannot praise the staff enough for their hospitality. Sadly, I don't have any photos of the food, but it was lovely.

Perfect stop off half way from Liverpool to Edinburgh. Food was fantastic and filling.
Parking: Space for around 5 cars. Plenty of parking on roads nearby.

Absolutely love Claudios and have been coming for years. There is always a genuinely warm welcome from Davide or Pam and fabulously delicious food courtesy of Claudia and the kitchen staff!

Pasta starters were good sized portions but over seasoned and very salty. Calzone pizza was really disappointing as there was little to none filling inside it. They have a good Gluten free option so I ordered pizza but again it was very salty, the food looked good but the taste wasn't there. We've been here once before & enjoyed the food so maybe it was just a bad day for the restaurant.We wouldn't hurry back nearly £60 for 2 starters 2 mains & 2 soft drinks & in and out within 50 mins.

Well that was disappointing we booked a table for 6pm and once we were seated were told that we had to be gone by 8pm as the table was re-booked again and we had to be finished. (Great start)
The whole time we sat there the waitress was sorting the clean cutlery throwing it into the containers ready for laying the tables you couldn't here yourself think let alone have a conversation over the din. Then the same women waitresses had such bad attitude and seamed as though they really didn't want to be there and we really didn't appreciate listening to them bad mouthing the clients which left as we where eating our meal. The male waiter was really good and was engaging.
The food was edible but decidlbly average. We do not recommend.
