My life? these are the nicest toasties I?ve had, probably ever! The kids love them too. The coffee and milkshakes are really good. This makes a trip to a beautiful part of the world even better!

I found myself in Moffat, early on a Sunday Morning, looking for breakfast and not expecting to find much. Google maps told me cafe Ariete opened at 8, so I thought I would give it a try.
The cafe was surprisingly busy, including families, staff were friendly and cheerful and I was given a menu.
I took a traditional breakfast with a choice of bread and scrambled or fried eggs, a cappuccino and some water. The food arrived quite quickly and was very good. I was pleased there were no beans, I can't cope with them and eggs touching each other.
The atmosphere was good, a lot of effort has gone into decor, making it look like an old- fashioned cafe, yet with some modern touches at the same time.
Staff checked that everything was okay in passing, and seemed to be enjoying themselves. I commented that I was surprised they were open that early on a Sunday, and they said the summer had been quite busy.
All-in- all a pleasant find with good food and friendly staff.

I always stop here when I drive up to Glasgow. The place is immaculate and the food good.

The cafe opens early. All staff were very welcoming and we were served quickly. Theres a large menu and we opted for the veggie breakfast. There is lots of parking outside.
Highly recommend.

Every time I came to Scotland with my brother and my grandad we always call at this cafe we have never failed yet the service is amazing and the atmosphere is brilliant the staff are really helpful and make you feel welcome

I was standing outside and I heard one of your staff being very racist under his breath. I found his name to be Alfie. I enjoyed the meal and I praise the cooks for that. Please sort staffs language!!

Spotted the sign for this cafe on motorway. Great cafe but also brought us into great little village. Cleanest toilets ever. Great food, free parking.
