First night stay in Moffat last night, delighted to find Brodie?s for evening dining. Attentive and warm service, lovely surroundings, exceptional menu, quality food, and so welcoming in terms of dog friendliness. It was the little touches made it extra special. Would highly recommend x

Really excellent. Just had a long cold drink and cake, but the rest of the offering looks great. No fruit scones on Sunday though. A hidden gem in Moffat.

After spending the day planting trees in the fresh, blustery air of the Moffat Hills, we decided to stop by for a well-earned break. The moment we sat down, the sight of a generous slice of fridge cake and the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee felt like exactly what we needed. The cake was rich, indulgent, and satisfyingly sweet, while the coffee was hot, smooth, and wonderfully reviving. Together, they made for the perfect treat to round off a rewarding but tiring day outdoors.

We were only in Moffat for a few days and winter opening hours meant Thursday was the first time we could visit but it was so worth waiting for! We would have returned if it had been possible. Gin bar is welcoming and has a great selection; the food was really good, served on time and convivially. Honestly, we would have expected to pay more for the quality. Book if you're planning on going, don't just turn up in hope. The daytime coffee shop is also good, cheaper and better coffee than some of the Moffat competition.

Lovely cafe, good coffee and cakes, really lovely staff. Great vintage style decor with big comfy chairs and sofas, and dog friendly too.

Fantastic food in a relaxed atmosphere prices are good for gourmet meals but expect smaller portions as the focus is quality which was great for us! Also they are dog friendly with a terrific gin lounge will definitely be back when in the area thanks Frank & Karen

No thanks! We went for Lunch! The food was fresh and looked nice but the portions were really tiny! Had a Quiche that was about the size of two fishfingers. My husbands lunch? a few kofta balls as big as s childrens snack! Bill was therefore big and insane compared to the food! Adding the unfriendly service will keep us away in the future!

Fantastic food, beautifully presented but perhaps even more important they made a lone traveller so welcome. Lovely staff who couldn't do more for you. Brodies is an absolute jewel.
