First time in years I?ve been there I wasn?t very impressed let?s start with the king rib with batter it was appalling so dry and burnt it was binned
The chips was tasteless even had the loaded chips just honestly was binned also
Haggis fritters sooo bad
Was hoping something local and honestly won?t be back such a shame because last time I was there it was faultless
Either it?s over busy and not such care is taken or just lack of experience such a shame for such a big business I won?t be back.
Staff were faultless and easy to talk too

Very good portions and lovely/friendly staff.
The white chocolate banana and caramel hot drink is highly recommended.

Stopped by for a quick lunch with the little one. Good enough lunch. Great service from the staff! And there was a small soft play area which was a bonus! Would stop by again if in the area!Kid-friendliness: Has a small soft play for pre-schoolers. Was good to keep the little one entertained while we waited for our lunch!

This chip shop was on our way home. We checked online and were hopeful it was up to date, which it was. We were just going to get a takeaway when we noticed that there was a sitting area/restaurant. The staff were excellent because we were the only customers on a Wednesday afternoon. We all had fish and chips and it was lovely and fresh. This was a really good choice. There is parking but it is quite tight. I have no hesitation recommending this place.

Great service. Very popular, so it was very busy and quite noisy. Not a lot for vegetarians. Salted caramel muffin was scrumptious.Would visit again.

Had a lovely tea in the cafe! Sandwiches, hot food, cakes were all so fine. The prosecco sorbet was lush. Loved it!

Batter on fish was soggy. Pigs in blankets was soggy batter. Gravy had no taste . Whole day i could taste grease in my mouth wont be back as ot was poor

Disappointing portion size. Medium haddock is a palm sized, thin sliver of fish. Chips, which chips?You?d think that if the fish is tiny, they?d cram the box full of chips. Not so. Luckily I could scrounge some chips from my kids so at least I didn?t have to make a sandwich after supper. Not going back here anytime soon.

Good food, fresh, very hot. Managed to accommodate our larger family without a booking although busy. Big selection of drinks which impressed my kids.
