I went on the 14th August 2025 , had a lovely meal with my daughter for her birthday. The meal was delicious and would certainly be back, only thing I would say the service wasn?t as attentive and hence why I left a smaller tip. Apart from that I would recommend to family and friends.

Our first time visiting souters inn . Was made feel welcome and was showed to our table which we had pre booked as we did think it would be busy for a Sunday afternoon. Too which it was . . We all had a great meal ordered 4 starters and 4 mains which were delicious . Our only concern was the staff should be more attentive to see if the customers would require more cutlery and drinks . As we had to ask for the cutlery then twice for more drinks once our first drink was finished . And then we had to wait about 10 mins for them being brought to the table .we Would definitely return as the meal was great and couldn't fault it . .

Came here for lunch on a weekday. Very nice restaurant with good service. All fish dishes were excellent. Sides were less impressive, with frozen chips and slightly plain vegetables. Unusual but nice sticky toffee pudding, using cinnamon and ginger.

We have been regular visitors here for over 6 years because the service was always top notch however since the change of ownership in the last few months and set of new staff the service has really gone down hill, the food is great as it has always been but service slow and staff don?t seem interested in having to serve you, just not good enough waited so long for a round of drinks the meal was over and the staff just couldn?t care less. Will probably leave it for a good while before returning.

Great place with welcoming atmosphere. Good food , reasonably priced (travel extensively for work and prices are good for the quality of food!). Staff are friendly and this adds to the relaxed atmosphere even when it was reasonably busy?

My husband and I dined here and were overwhelmed with everything from walking in to leaving! The ambiance, service and food was outstanding! We were staying at Trump Turnberry and were not keen on their menu, taking the gamble with this lovely restaurant and were so glad we did! We will certainly be back??

Food is amazing and the price surprisingly reasonable for such a considering the high quality of the food, the service and atmosphere. Great staff and the calamari is the best I have ever had.

Food was ok. The server must have been new because she didn't know what came with the main course. I asked her to bring the menu to show her that it came with salad and fries. The atmosphere was that of a regular restaurant.
