Came to stay here for an event. Nice little hotel. The staff were really lovely and welcoming. The room was nice and clean. Comfy bed. Just a bit too close to the bar so it was a bit noisy. Other than that a really enjoyable stay.

We came through this little town by fortune and stumbled upon White Horse Hotel. The staff might be the nicest people I?ve ever met and she did everything in her power to help us having a pleasant stay - which we really did! This place has a local vibe and seems to be the town?s meeting point which creates a great atmosphere.Food & drinks: Super nice breakfast not included and a bar that?s a part of the hotel too.

Popped by for a drink with our dog before heading to Holiday Cottage, everyone was SOOOO friendly, literally everyone gave Baillie treats...Always stop in when staying in Strichen...Thanks ?!

3 night stay , rooms were adequate, shower was good. Staff and locals were all friendly and welcoming to us and our dog. Food was good overall we would go back to stay.Rooms: Wee bit cold at times.

This place is definitely unfit for purpose rooms were discusting bed sheets were nicotine yellow hairs all over the beds slats missing from underneath and proped up with old wardrobe doors showers were all mouldy and the knobs for turning the temperature up and down were missing would stay well clear place is a hovel

Very clean room, super comfy bed and powerful shower. Breakfast was awesome and as fresh as. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. Parked right outside door. If you don't like noise don't stay at weekend.

Reasonable priced meal but quality below average. Had to wait 30 minutes for meal after ordering. Macaroni had very little cheese, chips were poor quality and was charged for tap water.

Great place to have a pint and some home cooked food. Also have some great outdoor seating and still a coal fire. Worth the trip.

Lovely staff and great food there's also a 2 for 1 deal on the meals on certain times.
