Nice pub tidy decor, looks to have had a refurb recently, friendly bar staff .

Visiting Mauchline for the weekend celebrating our engagement. After researching ?dog friendly? establishments in the area we headed to the Black Bull hoping to have a few drinks in the beer garden. Staff told us they weren?t dog friendly on Saturdays. You either are dog friendly, or you aren?t - make up your mind and stop wasting people?s time with false advertising! Avoid.

Stayed for a night and we had the dog with us ,we were treated extemly well and staff couldnt have been more helpfull they even greeted the dog lovely. food was well cooked to the way that was asked ,we cant fault it will definately be going back there
