My mum and dad were in Mauchline and happened to ask someone where they could get a cup of tea. The amazing landlord told them to take their chips into the pub, the staff went and got milk and made them teas, no charge. My folks were beyond impressed and so touched that anyone would do this. Top marks to an amazing team and a marvellous act of kindness.

Now does live music most Sunday afternoons, fab day with a great range of drinks. Historical wee ventu, a must visit if interested in Mr Robert Burns. ???

Well where do I start? its not welcoming un less local reminds me of the movie werewolf in London from the 80s, its full of all day drinkers, place stinks of mould and dampness, the floor in the so called the lounge bounces as you walk on it, the whole place is outdated and in desperate need of renovation, as for the toilets stink of stale urine probably the worst toilets I have ever had to use, I have no idea how they are getting an alcohol license? It is in need of a massive deep clean the whole place is totally shabby "Not chic" Its dirty grotty and totally disgusting, enter at your own peril.

Very typical Scottish village pub!! Very friendly crowd - had pleasant chat with complete stranger and his wife before they had to take part in the weekly DOMINOES competion!!
