We recently visited this restaurant while staying in Mallaig. It?s hands down the best restaurant in town. The only restaurant where you can get Indian food and also International cuisines. We were very well served by Tuan and Akram. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone visiting Mallaig.

Exceptional Food & Service ? Adeel Made It Even Better!
We had a fantastic dining experience at Silver Sands Restaurant, and I can confidently say it?s one of the best meals we?ve had in a long time. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, but what really made our visit unforgettable was the outstanding service from Adeel.
Adeel went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was friendly, patient, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He gave us spot-on suggestions and treated us with such genuine warmth that we felt right at home.
We ordered the chicken curry and the mac and cheese, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The chicken curry was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced ? true comfort food with a kick. The mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy, and indulgent ? easily one of the best we?ve had anywhere!
We?ll definitely be back soon ? and that's because of Adeel!

We chose this restaurant as we were staying at the hotel. The food was excellent, the staff attentive without being overbearing and the view spectacular. A very pleasant experience.

My friends took me for the most wonderfully presented and very tasty meal. The food arrived quickly and was beautifully cooked.The hotel staff were all super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend a meal here and will be back. Thank you very much.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Morar Hotel. The food was excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. The best cheese cake ever. Excellent, friendly service from Tuan and Akram as always.

Very unpleasant stay. It is understandable to treat the customer poorly since there are only two restaurants in the town and that the tourists would not return anyway. However, how little care was given to the customer as a house of hospitality.
For every dish, our plates were taken away before we have finished. We were rushed to make decisions and to pay the seconds the plates were taken away. 5min after we paid the bill we were asked to leave and stay in the lobby.
The food is reasonable and the restaurant would be well suited for ones who had a tight schedule and need to dash straight after the meal.

Best things are ; the staff, including Tuan, Mayumi, Nadia and Akram. All very attentive, professional and super courteous and helpful. Also the amazing views and the delicious food - great breakfasts and dinners.
Unfortunately, very overpriced rooms - dated furnishings, many items broken or not working and a damaged TV. High priced meals - delicious, but guess there's a monopoly on the location. Bar closes at 10pm in the summer which is far from the norm.
Overall, lovely staff, service and location but could easily do better.

I had a beef burger, at 18 pounds it was horrible, I don't know if in Scotland all burgers are like this.. but it was tasteless, the minced steak was I think a mixture of minced beef and of soy / weight the bread was just industrial bread served with two tomatoes and salad and no sauce in it!I regret at the moment not having taken a photo to show it to you..In short, really not exceptional at all.. the service was normal, nothing extraordinary either.My friends had a lamb and a salmon which was a little more decent.

Very friendly service (Tuan) with a few exchanges (in English and/or German ;)). Not a lot of choice on the menu (but enough), we had a curry with shrimp, which was really very good and a small translation error on a steak which ended up being a sort of stew with puff pastry placed on top. .. but again, excellent surprise, it was really good with the mashed potatoes.Small failure on the crumble which was not cooked (but the gesture was made so that we did not add it to the bill), and the orange sunset on the terrace (directly accessible) succeeded in making it for us. to forget ;)
