States open online. Clearly hasn?t been open for business for a while by the looks of things. On a hiking trip and was a real disappointment to arrive for coffee and food, to find it closed when clearly states open online. A shame, with so little else around, many miles to hike until the next coffee shop north. Please update your business info for people.

The tea house was very busy when we stopped in on a Sunday in September. It was raining outside, and I think that added to the full interior. But, we were willing to wait, and it wasn't long before we had a table and were ordering a cuppa with a scone. Both were perfect! The women running this place should be commended for their hard work and efforts to make customers happy!

We stopped in on a rainy Sunday afternoon, and the place was full! But we didn't mind waiting, and it didn't take long before a table was available for us. We ordered a cuppa with a scone filled with cream and jam. It was perfect. There is a cabinet filled with home made sweets should one want to pick something up to eat elsewhere. And, there was a full menu, as most people were ordering soup along with a dinner option. Plenty to choose from, but also perfect for a sweet treat!

Made an unplanned visit to Laidhay on our way back from Wick, and I?m so glad we did! Lovely cakes and a delicious s?mores waffle filled us up, but what made the visit special was the service. Our wee boy was a bit unsettled and fussing, and the lovely lady serving us offered to take him to let me drink my coffee. She took him a wee wander to see the kitchen (always in our sight), which gave us a chance to throw back some coffee and cake - much appreciated for parents of a young baby! Exceptional service, will definitely be back.

Wonderful little tea room, tasty treats and delicious cakes served by charming staff.Next door is a brilliant museum which transports you back eighty years to two hundred and fifty years in an authentic crofters cottage. Definitely we'll worth a visit just to see how we lived once upon a time in Scotland.
