We recently enjoyed a fabulous night at this guest house with a group of family and friends. On arrival, the driveway and grounds of the house were delightful, there was a peaceful feeling of leaving the rest of the world behind as we approached the splendid property. The family owners were friendly and accommodating and we were very well catered for with a buffet of delicious home cooked meals, puddings to die for and breakfast to get up early for, all made with fresh produce from the gardens. We were captivated at breakfast listening to stories of the building?s history and even about some other ?friendly guests?. The rooms were clean, cosy and in keeping with the age and homely feel of the house. We are looking forward to visiting again soon for a retreat and to visit the shop and cafe again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

A shoutout to Lynn! She gave us a ride when we were hiking along the west coast because we missed our bus and because we didn't have a place to stay that night, she gave us a room in Forse of Nature for a reasonable price. We didn't know what it would look like , but were pleasantly surprised! The location and the room were like in a movie scene! So Lynn, thank you so much for taking us with you and your hospitality ? Regina and AmberWalkability: It is half an hour walk to the nearest busstationFood & drinks: Wonderful breakfast: it is a pay for what you eatNoteworthy details: They have a lovely walk through the garden and along the road to the house with a couple of nice surprises ;-)

We had a wonderfull vacation in this unique place with our 3 kids. The house is amazing, with great views with lake and woods just oustside the house. The coffee shops downstairs is very nice with very good breakfast. For kids, this place is highly recommended, the can run around all day in and out of the big house and the staff made them fill very welcome. The baths are great and the guest living room is very nice aswell with fridge for the guests. The room was nice with comftorbale beds and good wifi. The location is excellent for traveliing in the area with many many hikes and things to see and visit.Highly recommended.

Very welcoming, lovely room, great breakfast, wonderful gardens and woodland where we heard curlews and which was great for our dog who was much petted. It is set in open countryside with standing stones nearby.

From the wonderful setting at the top of an almost mile long drive, to the warm welcome and friendly, knowledgeable proprietor, the extremely comfortable bed and the delicious breakfast, this is not only great value for money but also one of the most home from home hotels I've ever stayed in. There's also a delightful shop selling local crafts. Looking forward to returning.

The dog and I stayed here for two nights, and enjoyed it tremendously.Very quiet, but easily reached. Communal area available, absolutely fantastic atmosphere, architecture and history with a well deserved grade B listing. Surprisingly affordable.Bathroom was down the hallway, but huge and well equipped, and a sink is provided ensuite.

Met by the owners and shown to our room this had been a care homme in the past and there was still evidence of this on the landing and rooms. Rooms are dated but adequate the guest lounge could do with some work. The owners pointed out places of interest and also a nice place to eat for dinner. Breakfast was cooked to order and tasty and also very aware of my Gluten free needs

Lovely craft shop & cafe with a choice of different cakes (Victoria, coconut, cinnamon, lemon, to name just a few). It is quite a long track to get there but you won't regret it

We loved our stay at Forse of Nature. Gorgeous location, comfy rooms, delicious food. But whar really makes this b&b and cafe stand out from the crowd is the welcome. Lynn and Jason went out of their way to help and support us on our massive walk to lands end, with lifts, laundry and home cooked dinners. Our dog was genuinely welcomed and was at home in minutes. We cannot thankyou enough.

Review is for the cafe only.Stopped here on the way home for a coffee and toasted sandwich which was ideal , small car park beside the white house leads to the building housing the café but this also houses an eclectic local crafts shop which was really interesting to peruse . Service was so friendly from the staff and the food nd drink was excellent and very reasonable , we bought some of the home made cake to take home with us as it looked wonderful. Great place to stop away from the NC500 and get some great food and friendly service
