“Toothache strikes whilst on holiday in Lossiemouth and we managed to get a same day emergency appointment here. My 9 year old daughter, post cancer treatment and having the fear of medical procedures and especially needles. We got the lovely Dr Alex and what an amazing person he is. He was so patient with her. Explained clearly that the tooth needed to be pulled. We tried to reason with a very scared child in the nicest way but she was having none of it.
We decided to leave as she was adamant she did not want and needles near her. Dr Alex said if she changed her mind to call back and the will sort her out.
We had a little pep talk in the car outside and she realised that it would be best to go back and get the injection and the tooth pulled out. She walked back in. Hold mommy's hand and just did it.
Honestly, we have been with many dentists in the past and I highly recommend this practice. They know how to deal with children. My girl left today after what should have been a very traumatic incident feeling like she is the bravest girl ever.
She said it was not even sore to have the injection or the tooth pulled out. What an amazing team. Thank you so so much.”
