The best pie I have ever had.
I chose the Venison and cranberry and it was packed with filling. We took our pies to eat out, so cannot comment on eating in, however it looked very clean.
My wife chose to have her pie warmed and I have to say it made a great pie even better.

We had a delicious Cullen skink soup as a starter and pies for main - venison&cranberry and chicken, haggis&peppercorn. Great wee restaurant, the staff was really chatty and nice. Would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic pies!!! My wife and I had 6 between us - all very delicious, but the chicken, haggis peppercorn took top prize. Make sure you go after 11am to be able to pair them with the excellent Lochinver Legend!

I didnt eat in the restaurant so can't comment on that experience but I did try the takeaway pies which were bursting with filling and flavour.
My only criticism would be the price. Two individual sized pies costing just shy of £15 is perhaps a tad expensive, even if they are a local delicacy.

If you're a fan of proper homemade pies, this place is an absolute must-visit. The pies here are to die for ? hearty, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We tried the steak and ale and the cauliflower pie, and both were incredible. The steak and ale was rich and tender, with a perfectly flaky crust, while the cauliflower pie was packed with flavor and a great vegetarian option.
It?s the kind of comforting, satisfying food that leaves you planning your next visit before you?ve even finished your meal. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates top-quality homemade cooking!
