Definitely one of the nicest locations I have been to in Scotland; the lodge was comfortable, and there were lots of things to do in the holiday park. Had some lovely food at The View restaurant with some great views and friendly service from our waiter Prince, then enjoyed some drinks at the Rob Roy Lounge. Kaine the bartender was a great guy to talk to. 10/10 service.

My wife and I have been coming here for a good number of years. Beautiful scenery and relaxing holiday. Unfortunately our experience this time has been very poor. We came for 4 nights to celebrate our anniversary . We had booked a Pod to try this out arrived on the Monday at 3.30pm check in 4pm. However our excitement came to a halt when my wife sat on the sofa for a couple of seconds, when she stood up she was covered in dog hair. Easily seen as she wore black. As she has asthma and allergies this was unacceptable. So we went to Reception explained the situation got told the cleaners had tried their best to hoover it up. Although they were very sympathetic the Manager Colette moved us to the Kingfisher Park 7 caravan. Firstly the key didn?t open the door so went back to reception. Given a second key said that will definitely open it. Great we got in. All looked great nice and clean . Until we put the TV on and it was snowy and sore on the eyes. Wi-Fi had to be paid for so we could watch hopefully Netflix. But the TV didnt connect and found out later by a member of staff that the TV was old. The excuses were to do with the trees ? no the Pod had a great reception very clear and had Netflix . The electric fire unusable .. staff looked at it no idea why it wasn?t working. We were told he would do his best to get another TV ? it?s now Thursday and we are going away tomorrow. Our next complaint is the two showers you can?t regulate the heat on and it took my wife an hour to shower as it was extremely hot. I definitely would suggest that the owners need to review their caravans as this is obviously a Health & Safety issue. My last complaint is the water ?. Yes we got a letter from Reception stating the water was yellow as the water is supplied from a local source and filters naturally through their peat bed hillside, therefore giving a yellow tinge. First time this has happened and I would suggest bring your bottles of water for drinking and making tea/coffee. It had left us vowing never to come back very sad and disheartened with our experience this time round and put dampers on our anniversary celebration.

Just back from a 3 night stay in a pond view caravan/lodge. Fantastic accommodation with all you need including hair drier and iron. Tea towels and shower towels too although slightly small. We had rain and were still impressed with the views and we?re happy to explore. Restaurant was great. Ate 4 times and was excellent each time. The staff work tirelessly and guests need to appreciate this more. Our 4 year old loved the pool and the arcades. Best of all the slime class was a hit. Staff across all areas were great. We are looking to come back as didn?t get to try The Goil as forgot about it until our last evening. Cinema would have been good too. We didn?t see this on site but would like to try on our next visit as we saw it advertised prior to arriving. There are plenty areas to walk and it is extremely dog friendly. The views are just stunning and I felt extremely relaxed and was able to switch off.

Great break for the family. Location absolutely stunning, weather roasting all week. All activities for the kids were great. Laser quest was a stand out, big shout out to Justin and the guys. By the far the best laser quest we have done, 1hr of cracking fun. We'll be back for that alone in the coming months. Thanks ?

We visited Drimsynie in July for a family members special birthday and the location is beautiful and so picturesque. Lots of beautiful walks and a laid back feel. We were a party of 4 adults and stayed in a 2 bedroom caravan for 3 nights. The caravan itself was very clean, beautifully decorated and modern. Fully equipped kitchen and dining area with all of the utensils you need included. Main bedroom with its own shower and toilet, twin room, main bathroom and toilet, kitchen/dining area and living room space. We had little welcome boxes in the toilets and kitchen with essentials which were a nice touch. There was a lovely decking area outside which overlooked a little stream which was lovely for sitting out having a morning cuppa or at night with a drink. The main complex where the reception, bars, food takeaway, amusements, spa and restaurant are located is located well laid out. They had entertainment on each night which included quizzes, bingo and singers/bands. They also had an early disco for kids before the main entrainment started. Plenty to keep the kids occupied with this and amusements/soft play area next to the bar. Didn?t get the chance to use the spa or pool on this occasion. There are lots of activities that you can book to keep you busy that include a VIP cinema, golf simulator, paddle boarding, zorbing, archery and canoeing. We didn?t get the chance to do any of these on this visit but would love to in future. We ate in the View restaurant on the first night and were quite disappointed with our experience. I had emailed a week ahead to book a table as it was for a special birthday and wanted to make sure we could get a table. I tried to call Drimsynie estate number on the website and the phone line was down. I never received a response to my email and when i spoke to reception on arrival they advised that I would have to speak to the restaurant direct. When I arrived at the restaurant, I asked the person on the desk and they told me they had no record of my booking and that the system crashed so bookings had been lost. They asked us to take a seat and someone would be with us shortly. We waited around 20 minutes then asked again if we were able to get a table. We were then shown to a table within the following 5 mins. We ordered 2 cocktails, a pint of lager and an alcohol free drink. Waited around 10 mins for the drinks to arrive. We ordered our food which took nearly an hour to come. For starters we ordered tattie scone nachos, a soup and haggis bon bons. The soup was good, as were the nachos but the haggis bon bons were a bit over cooked and on the dry side. When the mains arrived it was clear they had been sitting under the hot plate lights for some time. One of our party specifically asked the server about this and was told they hadn?t been. However, at the very least the fish and chips had been. The pickle and lemon slice was completely dried out and the plate was very hot. The food was served in decent sized portions but as above the fish and chips was very dry as was the sausages with the bangers and mash, which could have been from them sitting in the kitchen waiting to be served. The katsu curry and bangers and mash were lacking in flavour. The service was very slow and disorganised. Due to the delays we missed some of the entertainment we wanted to take part in/see. One of our party did approach reception and then I believe a manager to convey our experience with our meal but they didn?t seem interested or concerned about it. We could have just chosen a bad day to eat there, we didn?t eat there again during our stay but would give it another chance if visiting again. We ate at the Goil Inn, which is a short walk from the park, and I believe owned by the park. The food and service there is top notch and we ate there twice during our stay. Highly recommend! The walk there and back is lovely and the location is right on Loch Goil. I have done a separate review on this with pics of the food there if anyone is interested. Overall we had a nice stay at Drimsynie holiday park and would definitely reco

Amazing weekend! We came last November with some friends for our sons 2nd birthday, and I was a bit apprehensive coming here again because everything was closed in November. However, this time we brought friends and family, there was 12 of us in total and we had a truly incredible weekend. Clearly coming in the summer season made a big difference, not only because we had sun and 20 degrees heat all weekend, but all the bars, takeaway, entertainment & activities were actually open this time. The Osprey Lodge we got this time was much nicer than the one we had before too, with a huge smart TV and working wifi, which made a massive difference for my son to watch cartoons! The takeaway was also open this time, slightly overpriced for what you get (average food and small portions) but it was handy for a quick snack. Our son Kaleb loved the arcade and softplay again, and a few of us did archery & axe throwing which were both great fun! The Fireside bar was another hidden gem I didn't know about before and we all had a great Saturday night in there while the wee one stayed in with his Nana & Papa. The staff were all very helpful and good fun, special mention for Joy in the restaurant who Kaleb fell in love with, she was so friendly and helpful everytime we ate there, and the food was superb as usual. This place is so much fun in the summer, especially if you get the weather! We're currently booking up again for a week in May and cant wait... thanks to all at Drimsynie for a great weekend

We were at Drimsynie from Monday 28th Aug for 4 nights. Had a great time. It is really good for families with lots for kids to do. Food is excellent. Staff are lovely, very helpful and pleasant. It is also great if you want to just relax and chill out as was the case with my wife and myself. The scenery is magnificent. However, on the first day we reported some problems. Some minor, one major. The shower units were unclean, on-suite was filthy. My wife cleaned them. We reported it. Along with food splashes on curtains. After reporting there was an attempt to clean them. No Freeview channels. I managed to get 10 channels which included radio and gaelic which we don't speak. Reported this twice. Still the same when we left on the Friday. Missing lock on the on-suite bathroom door, leaving a hole. Potential privacy issue. Nothing done about it. The major problem was trip hazards on steps outside lodge. Plastic covering on edge of steps were damaged and some not screwed down properly. This caused trip hazards. My wife got her sandal caught in on 2 occasions causing her to trip. luckily she wasn't carrying anything so was able to get hold of the the handrail to prevent her from falling. Nothing had been done by the time we left on the Friday. We had spoken to a manager (named Collette I think) and she took a note of everything and said they would be sorted. As I have said, still not sorted by the time we left. It is absolutely shocking that the health and safety risk problem was still the same when we left. Receptionist on the morning we left typed up a note for the manager to call us. Still no call. If it wasn't for the lack of action over the trip hazard, Drimsynie would have got 5 stars from us.

Great place to visit and so dog friendly. We visited the View restaurant one night and the Goil Inn two days which was a 30 min walk. Smain was very attentive at the View restaurant. He couldn?t do enough for us . Highly recommend for a weekend break.

Drimsynie is the best caravan park in Scotland. We return time and time again and are never disappointed. The food is amazing. There is beautiful walks to take the dog and the dog loves going for a steak pie. The staff are all so lovely and couldn?t be more helpful. Can?t fault Drimsynie at all. I?m always sad when I have to leave, I wish I could stay there forever. Can I more in permanently?!

Nice little post office, with a handy post box outside, but, sadly, no credit-card facilities.
