Good food overlooking the marina in croabh haven. The menu had lots to choose from and staff were very helpful. Be careful to check opening times especially out with high season.

The food and atmosphere was great and it seemed sort of busy however the poor guy was rushed off his feet by himself which I felt kind of bad for as he seemed like a really nice guy who cares about doing his job to the best of his abilities but one man can only do so

Beautiful location. Lovely bar/waiting staff. Food: the scallops were lovely. Mushroom starter, delicious, but the langoustines were awful. They were dried out and reheated. Probably the worst I've ever had.

Great food. Fresh oysters and mussels were a hit, as was the fish and chips. Nice pub with a cozy atmosphere and a beautiful sunny terrace with a view.

So... you have this fantastic location and a fairly well-off clinetele and all you can manage is frozen food. On top of all that - you're right next to the sea. No decent seafood. I suspect even the 'local' mussels were from the local Co-op in Loch Gilphead or the local Tesco in Oban.

Have been in the village for over a week and have not been able to visit this pub. At the weekend we tried to dine here twice, to be told booking is essential even though the pub appears quiet and the website states there are two areas for walk-ins.Google states that the pub has been open all week, as well as their website saying they are open daily. On Tuesday and Thursday we have tried to go for a drink but the pub has been closed. I am just pleased we had not travelled from further afield to visit this pub to have been let down. Posting closures on Facebook is not adequate for tourists travelling to visit. It is disappointing that in the height of the summer season, in such a lovely holiday village, the local pub is a serious let down.

Advertised as very dog friendly, which it is.... Not kid friendly though! Advised we could sit on the tiled area with dogs. Fine, but 10min after ordering, advised kids couldn't be in tiled area due to licencing laws. Kids can be on carpet area but dogs not allowed in carpet areas. Bit of a dilemma!! So kids unattended on carpet area while we sit in the dog friendly area. If the kids came to ask a question or seek parents we we very quickly told to send kids away as not allowed!! Grumpy and rude bar staff (one young blonde girl in particular), never really felt welcome at all and as if our presence was a problem despite well behaved kids and dogs. Needs to rethink layout to allow families with dogs to sit together and teach staff how to smile and converse in friendly manner!! Shame as food was good!
