We popped into the cafe after a long mountain walk and in need of a pick me up. We were welcomed by Andrea who couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and kind if she tried. Our refreshments arrived quickly, despite a few other tables coming in at the same time, none of us appeared to have much of a wait and everyone seemed very happy. The only time we, as customers didn't seem to the centre of Andrea and Tim's focus was when they were giving our dog the same friendly service and a lot of treats! We wouldn't have wanted it any other way, our kind of people.

I had a beautiful one night stay at the Golden Larches while hiking the Rob Roy Way.
The rooms are beautiful and spacious with views of the old Balquhidder train station. I slept very well. Andrea and Tim are amazing hosts.

Stopped by for tea and coffee and pastry. Restaurant offers takeaway and sit down meals for good variety of food. Coffee very good. Tea selection excellent. Hostess so friendly and helpful. The BEST (and ?only) Shark Bathroom. Worth a stop and see.

This was my second stay at B&B The Golden Larches, and once again it was a fantastic experience. Despite booking very last-minute, everything was handled smoothly without any issues. Tim and Andrea are exceptionally welcoming, warm, friendly, and genuinely caring.
The B&B itself is beautifully finished, with great attention to detail and comfort. Everything exudes peace and quality, and you immediately feel at home.
I will definitely be back for a third visit. Highly recommended!??????????

We had a lovely lunch this afternoon at this easily accessible spot. The incredibly kind owners, Andrea & Tim, gave us and our dog such a warm welcome! The food was delicious and of great quality. Definitely recommended!

We are traveling from Canada, we just randomly picked the Cafe on the way to our next accommodation. The food was excellent but what really shines is the service. Very friendly and helpful. The owners are short staffed and run off their feet, but do it with a smile. They communicate early about the situation and the wait was really not that long. The conservatory was beautiful and clean and a lovely place to lunch. If you are in the area and looking for work, I would apply, the owners must be amazing employers, and you will always be busy. One of our best memories of our trip.

A lovely place with delicious food! The owners are friendly and made us feel so welcomed! The ham and cheese toastie was tasty, and the views from the patio were scenic! And gotta love the shark toilet! 10/10 recommend giving The Golden Larches a try!
