Our stay at Mingarry was incredible, having worked in management before you can really see all of the small touches that John and Emma put into the hotel. Upon arriving we were offered drinks which was lovely!, the room was absolutely spotless and the views around the hotel were amazing!, a coffee machine which was in the room was perfect, along with a chocolate on the pillow, there were also GHD straighteners and a hair dryer. And extra towels and robes and slippers. All round just super nice things to have when staying at the hotel.Dinner and breakfast were always incredible!, Nicola was so lovely serving us and dinner and breakfast was always served on time. Our only very small issue, is in the night in our room the fire alarm button was right next to the light switches, when it was dark it made it really difficult to tell which was which, but definitely something very minor for an amazing hotel! Our stay was nothing short of amazing, the hotel is in a lovely location and is hosted by lovely welcoming staff.Would highly recommend!, we will definitely be back again! Thanks so much,George and Freya x

We have just had a wonderful 4 days break at Mingarry Park hosted by Emma, Nicola, the team and the rheas/ducks!Despite the heavy rain, we had a very relaxing time with excellent food, peace and quiet in the Mingarry Room and a view of the little menagerie in the paddock/garden behind. What a lovely surprise to look out of our window and see rheas, ducks and geese waddling around. Annie woke each morning and her first thought was to look out of the window to make sure the weather hadn?t affected them. Well done to Nicola in retrieving their bridge/pallet which was washed down stream twice in the torrential rain. For those who want to get away to some real peace and quiet in glorious remote Scottish scenery with top class food for breakfast and dinner, very highly recommended.

We had a very enjoyable four nights at Mingarry Park and were well looked after by Emma, Nicola, Angus and the other staff. It's a beautiful location and a great base from which to visit the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The shower was very good. Sleep quality was excellent. A great breakfast from a varied menu set us up for the day, with us looking forward to another lovely meal in the evening.

The on-site restaurant is amazing and produces delicious food. It did feel like they were a little bit of a stickler for time, considering the limited space and size of the accommodations (i.e. how many people would be dining) I do think it could?ve been explained a little more clearly prior to arrival, or upon arrival to avoid any conflict. In the moment it wasn?t shared in the best way. Despite that experience, we were able to enjoy a really nice time in our 24 hours there. Breakfast was wonderful and enjoyed seeing all of the feathered residence of the grounds. The rooms are super spacious and the bed was comfortable.

After hours of walking through the Highlands, a bit lost and hungry, we stumbled upon this establishment. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, they still gave us a table. There, we ate what was arguably the best fish and chips we have ever eaten. The staff was very nice too. This experience was a real ray of sunshine in an otherwise pretty tiresome day.

This is the most luxurious and exclusive little hideaway in the Highlands. The staff are absolutely brilliant. The food is phenomenonal. I am allergic to milk without letting them know beforehand. They were brilliant, and the chef adapted the meal without hassle. The food was so tasty. Go here If you want an experience that you will never forget

This family-run hotel is such a lovely place to stay in. Emma and Anna are lovely, informative and friendly hosts. The room is in an excellent state with a comfortable bed with stunning views of Ben Resipole. We had breakfast and dinner there: the choice and variety of dishes was very good and catered for all tastes. There are pods in the rear garden where one can relax at all times of day, plus there are plenty of birds (lovingly looked-after by Anna) to interact with. The hotel is situated close to the village of Acharacle and is a great base for exploring Ardnamurchan. Emma and Anna can give you plenty of travel tips. A Highly recommended place to stay!Food & drinks: Hearty two-course breakfast with plenty of choice such as porridge and then a cooked breakfast with as much toast as you can eat.Dinner choice includes a very good venison burger, locally hunted.

Beautiful location for this superb, small independent hotel. Everyone was really friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Great setting with very fresh and thoughtfully equipped rooms. The garden pods are a lovely addition if the weather isn't as perfect as you would like. If you could ever be bored with scenery then the pet ducks and rheas are always happy to entertain with their antics. This is a beautiful and unspoilt area of Scotland with breathtaking scenery and beautiful beaches so a booking at Mingarry Park is well recommended.
