Excellent food freshly made. They don't even know themselves what the menu will be tomorrow.
Took me in when I was dripping wet in my cycling finery and let me wait for the hour until they opened. Mushroom soup and venison stew both tasty and satisfying.
I will return (but hopefully I'll smell better).

A lovely Scottish vibe in the restaurant with Scottish folk music playing and a welcoming local lady that cooks wholesome dishes using fresh local produce to an exceedingly high standard. The waiter was also a polite and lovely lad. Lovely setting with woodlands all around. We had venison stew, grilled salmon, black pudding starter and fruite crumble for desert. All were excellent - I was particularly
blown away by the fruit crumble. Best I've every had. Do help support local businesses that maintain traditions.

Met één woord Geweldig!!
We werden hartelijk begroet door het oudere koppel die al het eten zelf maakte. We kregen een handgeschreven menu. De sfeer was geweldig. Heerlijk muziekje aan waardoor je echt in de gezellige sfeer kwam.
Het eten was heel erg lekker.
Zeker een plek om naar terug te komen.
Kid-friendliness: Ze hebben een kinderstoel en leuk speelgoed in een mand waar de kinderen lekker uit konden spelen.

Great discovery! My wife and I were welcomed even though there was no room left. We expected to have only a few choices and in the end not at all, plus I found that we were served quickly. The cuisine is quality, it was a real treat! We came back the next day, the menu had changed and we enjoyed ourselves again :)The Sticky Toffee Pudding is one of the best I have tasted, and yet I have tasted a lot in my life!Concerning the welcome, it is top notch, the chef is super cheerful as are the staff, it's very pleasant.I highly recommend this address!!!

Nice atmosphere in a quaint area. Service a little slow. The cake was a bit dry, the coffee quite weak. Not really too much to complain. But when we tried to pay, none of our cards worked (4 people with different cards) and the suggestion that there was something wrong with the card reader (maybe it needs re-booting?) was met with outrage and very nasty treatment towards us. The suggestion of paying via bank transfer was met with rolled eyes. Luckily there was a very nice customer at the table text to ours who offered to change the Euros my mom had int pound (we were 5£ short on cash). Ruined my day!

Relaxed atmosphere, nice toasties and tea. The hot chocolate tasted like Cadbury instant. Tea comes in a pot with extra water so plenty of cups from one pot. Lemon drizzle cake was lovely. Its our third time visiting this area, forth time coming to Ariundle Centre. Dog friendly too.
