A book shop is one of my happy places and Waterstones is one of the best. The books are easily accessible and in a logical order. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The shop is well lit and there is plenty of room to move around.
The coffee shop upstairs is a delightful bonus

This is my favourite Waterstones branch. The atmosphere is cosy and the staff are always really friendly even when it's busy. I always end up having a little chat with them about some book or another whenever I'm in. I particularly like that the staff get to select their own music, because it makes the store feel more unique. I had a lovely surprise yesterday when The Legend of Zelda - Hateno Village soundtrack came on, it had such a relaxing vibe.

A bit off the beaten track within the centre so generally just reader types. Not a lot of noise. Cake selection a bit poor. Coffee was nice though

It is a beautiful and well laid out shop however I don't think it is welcoming at all. I felt uncomfortable and felt like I was being watched. Didn't buy anything as I didn't feel I could look properly. Maybe I looked shifty ?

I love Waterstones bookshop, It has books I love and inspires me for new titles to read. They gave a nice café too.
